I had a look of doubt on my face, but I didn't move as I let the array shrink around me.
That array kept shrinking until it was barely around me. There was only an inch between me and the edge of the array.
It was only then that the array suddenly stopped shrinking.
"What now?" I couldn't help asking, but my grandfather seemed to be too focused to answer.
He was just focused on the hand that he had raised as he looked at the array with narrowed eyes.
Then all of a sudden, my grandfather said, "Condense."
When he did, I saw the array suddenly getting smaller again.
Seeing it approach me, there was a part of me that wanted to move back since I had no idea what this thing was.
However, it was my faith in my grandfather that stopped me from moving back.
Yes…it was that faith that kept me from moving back, not the fact that I was completely surrounded by this array and couldn't move at all.
