"You actually opened it." Tatiana looked at me, amazed. Is there a need to be that amazed? "Wait? Was there really a secret message!?" She snatched the letter from my hand and read over it again. I smirked, knowing she'd never be able to solve it. I opened the box and looked inside. There was a journal, a map, a ball-shaped compass, and artifacts. Not magical artifacts, just regular artifacts like a slab of rock with ancient writing. She put away the letter and picked up the journal in the box. "This is…" I took out the map and looked it over. Everything was coming back to me. The story was kind of cliche. She and her adventurer group had found a treasure trove. Her teammates had killed her to keep it all to themselves and to hide it from the queendom. You only figure out she was murdered after you visit the tomb on the map. After finding her dead body and reading the journal on her, a string of quests opens up. All connected to apprehending or killing her teammates. You choose whether to kill them or turn them into the queendom. "Thank you." Tatiana gave me a tight hug.
"Ah, yeah." I patted her back.
"Maybe I can figure out what happened to my sister using this." She said and let go of me.
"Yeah. I'll help you." Promising to help was also part of gaining her trust.
She looked at me wide-eyed and kissed me. She pushed me back down on the pillow. Our tongues entwined for a few moments… She broke the kiss to tell me, "I'll take you to Brynhildmar."
I smiled. "Yeah." A quest completion window would've popped up above her head if this was still the game.

I woke up and stretched my arms. It was bright outside, and Tatiana wasn't in bed. I'd slept in. After how late we'd gone to sleep, there's no way I couldn't have. I got off the bed, found my panties, and slipped it back on. I tied my messy hair into a bun and walked out of the bedroom. There was no one in the house.
There was a covered plate on the dining table with a note on top. So, I picked up the note.
The note said:
'Hey, sleepyhead.
Unfortunately, I can't snuggle around with you. I have to go to work.
But before I left, I made you breakfast. Aren't I nice?
Make sure you eat all of it.'
I put down the letter and removed the cover. Bacon, sausages, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast, and beans all on one plat; it was the full Minkin breakfast. I sat down, picked up the fork, and put a few mushrooms in my mouth. As I chewed, I looked around, spotted a pen on the corner table, used [telekinesis] to get it, and added a note below her note. I said thanks for the breakfast, told her I'd come to see her later and jotted down the hotel address just in case she wanted to contact me.
I finished breakfast, took a shower, found my clothes, and went back home.

When I walked into the hotel, Garth found me immediately. It seemed he'd been waiting for me in the lobby.
"Master!" He ran to me as I was about to ascend the stairs.
"Didn't Sterling give you the money? What are you still doing here?" I questioned.
"Yeah, he did, but I don't know who Virginia is." He said.
"Didn't I already tell you? The Law magician."
"No." He shook his head.
"Ah… Oh." I looked through my blazer for the list of addresses I had made. "I was sure I told you," I said.
"You didn't, master."
"Hmm. Okay, it's not in this jacket. You have a piece of paper and pen?" I asked.
"Ah." He took out his wallet and pulled out a small piece of paper with writing already on it. "I don't have a pen."
"Come upstairs with me. And put your wallet away." I said.
We went to my door. I didn't have the key since I'd given it to Sterling a while back. But that was fine; I used [telekinesis] and snapped it open from the other end.
"They really should install a magic lock," I said as I opened the door. It was concerning because it was incredibly easy for someone with the right spells to break in.
"I think the hotel has a magician, master. You have to pay for it, and they'll lay down a magic alarm on the lock every 12 hours." He said.
"Oh. What type of magician is it?" Lock magic wasn't a popular specialty.
"I think an elemental magician, master."
I moved to the closet and looked through my old blazer pocket as we talked. "An elemental magician putting down lock magic?"
"I think it's just a simple alarm trap, master. I think it shoots out thunder or something like that. You can read about it in their booklet." He said.
"Hm. I can put down an energy trap that'll do basically the same thing." I said as I found the sheet of paper containing the address in my old blazer pocket. "Ah, here it is."
"I don't think the hotel will appreciate you putting your own magic on their property, master." He said with an expression that clearly said: please don't do it, master.
"I wasn't going to do it. Sheesh, I'm just saying." Garth sighed, and I shook my head. I unfolded the list and pointed out Virginia. "This is her address. I asked her to make me 6 contracts. I don't know if she'd finished them yet… Anyway, pay the 5 gold, and I'll pick up the contracts later."
He looked at the address and said, "Yes, master."
"Do you know where Sterling and Otto are?" They weren't in the room.
"They went with Terrie to the art museum." He said.
"They went with Benard and them? Okay." I looked at the expansion bag sitting in the corner of the room. "I was hoping they'd stick around and watch the expansion bag. But I did say they could do whatever they wanted, didn't I?"
"Ah." Garth didn't know how to answer that.
"Whatever. You can go pay the bills. Oh, and what happened to the preservation box?"
"I haven't talked to Sterling yet, master." He said.
"Okay. Yeah, take your time. I have to write a letter to that chubby fairy anyway. I should've established a formal contract before leaving the fairy queendom." I said as I thought back to my time in the Fairy Queendom.
"Chubby fairy?"
"Nevermind. You can go. Go do what I already told you."
"Yes, master." He bowed and left the room.
As soon as he left, I jumped on the bed with my arms spread open. "This is a pretty big bed," I said to myself. "I should write the letter." The clock was ticking. "Should I start brewing that? Otto will get pissed if I turn the hotel into my lab again. Stupid asshole doesn't know anything…"

"I've always wanted to see this painting," Sterling said.
"Why?" Otto questioned. "It's just a woman with her face hidden." It was the world-famous painting: The Daughter of Woman.
"Yeah, I don't get it," Terrie said.
"Let's go look at the classics," Benard said.
"Okay." Sterling agreed.
They moved to the classical section and looked at the old and restored paintings.
"Ah, now this is art," Benard said. Terrie squeezed his ass, and he yelped, "Hey."
"What do you know about art, farmboy." She smirked at him.
He pushed her hand away and said, "I know plenty."
"It is a beautiful painting," Sterling said.
"Ah, yeah." Terrie took a more careful look at the painting. It was a painting of the three Chares. The sons of the Queen goddess, Dione. Three beautiful men standing naked in an embrace. One showing his ass, and the other two showing their peens.
They moved through the other paintings of gods and goddesses, and Theo noticed two men following them.
"There's two guys following us." He whispered to Terrie.
"Yeah, I noticed. I was wondering if you guys knew them." Terrie said, wondering why two men would follow them?
"Me? No. Maybe Sterling and Otto." Theo said.
They looked over at Otto and Sterling, and Otto said, "Why is it that when it's a woman, she's always covered up?"
Terrie looked at the painting they were in front of. It was a painting of the crucifixion of Geula. "What do you mean, her boobs are out." She said.
"But she has a loincloth. If Geula Cristal was a man, I bet his dick would be out for everyone to see." He complained.
"That's not true," Terrie said. "What do you think, Theo."
"Probably." He shrugged.
"Theo? No." She disagreed. "There's plenty of paintings with naked women here."
"That's true." Theo agreed.
"I guess so." Otto slowly agreed. "But even Dione is covered up in a bedsheet."
"Bedsheet! Ha!" She laughed. "But the gods are covered up too."
"Some of them," Otto grumbled.
"Most of them."
"Hmm."
Terrie smiled. "Come on, let's go see the statues."
They admired the cast of The Thinker, the muscle-defined sculpture of a woman holding the weight of her chin on the back of her right hand.
"See, she's naked." Terrie pointed out.
"Yeah… But you can't see anything." He said.
"What is there to see?" She asked.
"There are things to see." He stubbornly protested. Even Sterling rolled his eyes.
Terrie smiled and shook her head. The rude thought, 'I'll show you something,' popped into her head, but she shook her head and held her tongue. Terrie always tried to be a gentlewoman around men. She'd never say something so coarse to men.
While they continued to admire the statue. "Hey." Someone poked Terrie's shoulder. She knew who it was. It was one of the men that had been following them around.
"Yes?" She faced them.
There were two pretty men holding hands. One of them hid cutely behind his friend while the other stood in front.
The one that was standing at the front said, "My friend-"
Or started to say before his friend interrupted him and said, "He likes you too."
"What!?" The one standing in the front tightened his grip on his friend's hand. "That, ah… We both think you're cute." The one behind him blushed.
"Ah, ah, what?" Terrie was utterly flustered. This had never happened to her before, men approaching her? What's going on? She remembered the bracelet around her forearm. At first, she thought Sherrie was drunk. Then when Nikola also told her it was The Bracelet of Eros, she still didn't believe it, so she never tried it out. Nonetheless, she wore a long-sleeved shirt to hide it like Nikola suggested. She looked at the two cute boys in disbelief; it was actually working.
"We were wondering if we could spend some time with you?" The one at the front, the de facto leader, said.
Terrie looked back at her boys, Theo and Benard. Her eyes said something between: I'm going and can I go?
Theo talked for her. "You want to spend time with our girlfriend?"
"Ah, yeah." He nodded. "Are all of you her boyfriends? I guess that makes sense. She is beautiful."
"I'm beautiful?" She was in a daze.
Theo rolled his eyes. "You want to have a date with her alone?" He half-hoped they'd wish to spend time together with everyone.
"Yes." The one behind the leader said.
"Okay." Theo gave the two cute boys a gentle smile. Then, he turned to Terrie, who looked lost and horny. He took her head in his hand, leaned over, kissed her, and said, "We'll head back to the hotel on our own. So, you can go have fun with these two boys." Then he said in a lower voice, "Make sure to get their experience points." She nodded wordlessly. "Alright, she's all yours… for now." The two boys nodded.
"I guess we should head to the cafeteria. I'm feeling kind of hungry." Otto said, trying to help.
"Yeah, let's go," Theo said and followed behind Otto and Sterling, who was already moving away. Benard stood planted on the ground looking at her. And Theo had to take two steps back and grab his wrist. "What are you waiting for? Come on."
"Ah, okay." Benard let his brother pull him away.
When they could no longer see Terrie or the cute boys, Sterling said, "I thought she looked cute today. I guess it wasn't just me."
"Are you wearing the necklace Sherrie gave you!?" Otto asked him angrily and patted his chest.
"Hey, what are you doing!?" Sterling fought him off.
Just as Otto suspected, he wasn't wearing it. "You're not wearing your necklace, idiot." He scolded him. "She's wearing the bracelet, you idiot."
"Stop calling me an idiot!" Sterling exclaimed.
"Guys." Theo looked down at the both of them. "Let's go get something to eat."
Otto exhaled, annoyed. "Yeah, fine."
Sterling turned his nose away from his brother and said, "Yeah, let's go."
