As the voice finished, everyone in the room begins to panic except for Aiden. The class hears him say," Not again I just did this already. Okay, everyone we don't have much time but you all need to breathe. You will be okay as long as you stay together." He looks at the teacher and finds a notebook and pen.
|How to deal with hero summons|
1. Listen first, listen again then clarify and ask questions.
2.Questions should be yes or no and easy to understand because you will be short on time.
3. Stick together and learn.
4.Embrace the new life. Throwing fits and getting angry will get you killed by summoners or monsters.
5. Trust no one. Trust is earned not given freely|
He hands the notebook to the teacher.
" I will help you all from the shadows but I plan to walk my own path at this start. I wasn't given that choice before. Accept the fact your life is now an anime or movie."
As he finishes up,the room gets brighter and suddenly everyone is waking up in the castle. The Emperor is talking and at first it was hard to understand but now the system appears in each of us. We followed our guidebook and listened. As we are told about our training, several people looked excited. Well there's only ten of us anyway why wouldn't a few people be happy to be free of our small town life.
These people looked at each other and said," It appears we can form a large party using this interface. Parties seem to be much like video games back home but it allows us here to also see a summary of each persons abilities in this world."
The one speaking for the group was named William and it would seem that his group had unlocked life skills like crafting and designing. We collective called them the Think tank because even back home they were the prodigies who had returned to high school for the social experiment and to feel like normal teens.
The other side of the group was the captain of the football team and his friends. It appeared the system here was intuitive and gave abilities based off physical strengths because these guys had combat heavy abilities and had unlocked their classes. We had 3 warriors and the captain had unlocked the class of Juggernaut.
The Think Tank had 5 people in it, the warriors had 4 and true to his word Aiden was gone. So we all looked to the teacher to see what she had gotten. She looked at the notebook in her hand and looked at the class and said she had been given a class but it was locked and her skill was foresight and tracking.
The class then took leave of the Emperor and were directed to an underground tunnel system resembling a high tech subway. The guards warn everyone to buckle in and hold on. The train seems to glow with different colors and intricate designs as it suddenly takes off like it was shot out of a cannon. After only a few minutes it feels like, the class is then unbuckling and stepping through a giant archway that says Abandon all hope because hopes die here.
[Ding... You are the first heroes to find the secret location *Citadels Proving Grounds*
+5 skill points, improved combat and skill mastery while being trained by Citadel Academy]
As we step through the archway and into the proving grounds, we see a figure standing there. He seems to be ten feet tall and has four very muscular arms. He turns around and looks down at the class. "These are the heroes, what am I going to do with such frail people. Be happy you have been blessed with the touch of Kurza and of Leonas. I am called Eberek in the native tongue and to my people but here they call me Beast."
" I have trained the guards next to you and most fighters you will find in the Citadel. I am not here to be your friend but to make sure we survive this calamity. My task is to unlock the potential in your bodies and the blood you now have. You have all been blessed with power and with life. So long as you fight for crown and obey the tenets I will teach you death will not take you. With that in mind welcome to hell."
He sends William and his group to the smiths and tunnels to learn and incorporate new ideas into each other. The warriors were given a slab of black mineral to carry around then were put in suits of the same material. Curses and sweat poured forth like rain but it fell on the deaf ears of Beast. Intermixed with the curses there would be shouts of surprise as training took effect.
The teacher waited for Beast to run her through the same things but he looked at her and said Climb to the top of the Grounds and look for the one they call the Seer.
