PRELUDE
I stood wondering if this what I had become. I couldn't get my feet to move no matter how hard I tried.
For a moment I thought of turning back and I almost got my feet to move, then I remembered why I was here.
I remembered my little daughter playing around innocently not knowing that she would die in a few months if I didn't get enough money to pay for her surgery.
I also remembered the doctor mentioning my condition but well…my daughter came first I would deal with my own problems later.
My conviction reinvigorated I wiped the stray tear that was streaming down my face and headed into the large ominous building.
I had no idea on what the future held all I could do was hope for the best.
