Claire was shaken up with everything that was going on, I understand. It's a scary world and I dragged her into my mess.
"My name is Aurora Marques, my father is part of the mafia. He owns the most powerful gang in the mafia."
"Mafia," Claire asks. "They don't exist."
"They do. I'm sorry."
"You are part of the mafia."
"Claire please just listen to me. Hear me out please." I say and she nods.
"I have a sister named Tessa and my brother Lucifer. I was supposed to be married to Andrea."
"Who is Andrea?."
"The mafia king, a notorious one. I didn't want to marry him. I didn't want anything to do with the mafia. So I ran away from my wedding."
"Everything I know about you is a lie."
"I was trying to protect you."
"Well, that didn't go so well." She says.
I deserve that.
