Chapter 35: Heavy fall
"Why would you want to call me? You don't call people. What changed?" she asked him.
"Anyone that cares about you will call you at this point." he told her.
"And I don't care Shawn. To my best of knowledge, I satisfied you, but then what did you do? You let her live? Aren't you worried your power is going down?" she said to him furiously.
"Don't worry about me, worry about yourself. Your sex tapes are all over the internet." he replied her and ended the phone call.
"My what? Wait..." she said as she tried to get what he was trying to say but the call had already ended.
She then took a deep breath and looked up her phone.
It was then she noticed that a few people from her agency had been trying to reach her.
But then she wasn't picking up simply because she had put her phone on Do Not Disturb mode.
She then decided to call her assistant.
After the second ringing, Rita picked up her phone.
