Velda returned back home. Unlike how overwhelming the smell of blood was in the corridor the day before, today it was replaced by the strong aroma of tequila. Callisto never liked to drink alcohol unless he was forced by certain circumstances. She stepped in cautiously, looking around for signs of Callisto.
A golden retriever suddenly bolted towards her, toppling her down to the floor. She fended off his barrage of kisses on her face by covering its eyes. This familiar texture of hair, and the smooth skin...Callisto? By the dangerous way he was touching her, he seemed to be completely out of it. Velda heaved a sigh of relief. At least she didn't have to trick him into drugging him. He was so intelligent that half way into her plan, he would have sensed something fishy.
She was thankful Callisto ended up this way today. This way, she would feel less guilty for doing this to him who gave her a new life and showed her how truly enjoyable life was. Callisto's pale skin was a bit red around the visage, his eyes were droopy as if sleepy and his clothes were disheveled. They were all symptoms of intoxication.
She lifted his arm over her shoulder and carried him to bed. Tucking the blanket, she was about to leave when someone slightly tugged her sleeves. "Can you not go?" She couldn't turn down his request because Callisto looked so pitiful. For one last time, she was content seeing a new side of Callisto, wanting to have a heart to heart talk with him.
"Of course." She smiled, sitting down beside him. "I kinda feel like I am a mother, about to tell my child bedtime stories."
"Who's your child?"
"You." Velda teased him to see if he was sober.
"I am not. I am your husband." Lifting his chest, he said it so proudly that Velda couldn't help but giggle at how childish he was when drunk in contrast to his normal personality.
"I think this squeaky voice suits you better, my husband."
He pouted. "I feel like I am forgetting something." Callisto frowned as he was urgently recalling something in his memories. "Ah!"
"What is it my dear?"
"Those vampire elders! I hate them!" If this was an anime, it would surely show a mini version of him fuming clouds of anger while pouting his cheeks cutely.
She never realized she enjoyed seeing Callisto grumbling leisurely, unlike the usual him who faced problems and solved them all alone. "Tell me about it. I will listen to you."
"This is why I like you most." Velda flushed red in the ears by Callisto's laid-back comment. "The elders told me to marry one of their daughters again! I already told them to accept their loss in the duel. And you know what they said?"
"What?"
"They said back then it was the past. And now is now. They didn't mention it for 3 years we were together, so why on earth now? Their daughters are 300 years old, literally 2 times older than me. I rather they'd told me to marry a man of the same age."
"What did you do to appease them out of the idea?"
"I bribed them to hold that thought for later. Those two goaded me into drinking and spiked the drinks while I wasn't looking."
"Did you harm someone else again?"
Velda knew that he didn't because the room was too neat and smelled the same as usual. However, she wanted to indirectly confirm if someone managed to come in.
"No, I didn't. When a female creeped up on me, I was so dizzy I couldn't see her, and I thought...I...," he clutched his head in pain, "...pushed her away."
"Why did you push her?"
"She came near my face. I could feel that disgusting breath of hers!" He complained as if wanting her to solve his grievances.
"I know how much you hate physical contact." What would Mrs. Dana say in situations like these? "Would you like me to tear off her skin, pierce her nose and mouth, or should I just give her a quick, painless death, my son?"
"No, I don't want that." Callisto grabbed onto her tightly, afraid she may leave him to harm the female. "I don't want you to kill mindlessly for me."
Callisto was always the one who teased her so this time, Velda took the initiative. "Son, do you like that female? Is that why you are stopping me from killing her?"
"No, I have already kicked her out of the house. Besides, the only ones I like are you, father, sister and that hunter!" He counted the people he liked on his fingers.
By the word 'that hunter', Velda was curious whether he was talking about her. "Velda?"
"Yeah! That was her name!" Callisto gleefully smiled at her. "I don't like her as much as I love you guys but she's my savior who held my very existence! I am very grateful to her."
Tears welled up in her eyes, delighted that he at least felt something meaningful towards an orphan who brought him never ending trouble and made him waste a lot of money. "I didn't know she held that much of a value to you."
"She does ... and I would like it if she could stay by my side." Callisto quietly whispered as he dozed off to sleep. Velda mumbled back in response. "I might not be able to promise that."
...
Callisto jolted awake. Alarmed that his wife wasn't beside him, he took a quick glance around the room urgently, before embracing her waist to hold her back from leaving the room. "Velda!" Velda was surprised by his sudden gesture that she didn't have enough time to react. She lost her balance and stumbled onto the bed. Despite his large build, due to the alcohol left in his system, Callisto was pulled by her weight and landed on top of Velda.
This position was somewhat awkward for Callisto who had never gazed upon a woman this close before. Velda, this insensitive fool, scratched her head, not knowing how to phrase her request to him. "Callisto, let's....divorce."
"Divorce?" His eyes widened in shock, unable to say a word back to her. Velda took this chance to push him away so that they could talk seriously. Callisto held onto her wrists tightly, remaining in the same position. It seemed he had no intention to let go of her until she talked it out with him.
"Let go." Velda struggled to get out of this position, nonetheless, Callisto was overwhelmingly strong. Knowing that she would only hurt herself if she carried on, she gave up briskly.
"I don't want to." Callisto sounded as if he was about to cry, burying his head into her shoulders. "Why? Do you not like me? That's why you don't want to stay with me?"
"No." She shook her head. "As long as you remain the same, Callisto, you know I can never hate you as a friend. The problem is me. I am losing my powers as a hunter."
"What do you mean?"
"Don't pretend." Velda pursed her lips. "The reason you married me was due to my abilities as a hunter. My external injuries healed in a few minutes. The orphanage was right when saying that I was a monster. But now...," she put her left hand close to his face, her thumb slid over his lips into his mouth where his fangs were. He knew what she wanted to do.
Callisto gently bit into her index finger, tasting the trickle of blood flowing out from the wound. He licked his lips. Under his craving eyes directly observing her, her body flushed red in response. The mood around the room was strange. Was she the only one feeling conscious? She squirmed a little bit, feeling quite uncomfortable.
She showed him her index finger, which was still red around the pierced injury. "See. The wound is not healing." Actually, because of the blood of a werewolf in her body, her powers as a hunter were still left intact even after 5 years passed. In a pdf Lisa delivered to Velda because she thought it would be of help, she found drugs to weaken her powers temporarily and enough anesthesia to knock Callisto out for a long time. She arranged it all in a hurry during the time Callisto was asleep, but unexpectedly, a small amount of it was very potent. She sighed in relief that the drugs kicked just in the nick of time.
Perplexed, he seized her finger, wrapping his tongue around the wound and sucking the blood. Velda held her voice back, trying to stop Callisto from continuing any further. "I can still heal you with my saliva." She resumed her explanation.
"Anyways, if my powers as a hunter are gone, you will surely have a hard time standing your ground in the noble community."
Callisto trembled slightly, bursting out into laughter. "Velda, are you so daring that you have learnt how to threaten me?" He leaned forward, planting kisses on her forehead, and moving down parts of her slim oval face. "That's why I can never get enough of you." He whispered seductively into her ears.
"I am not." Velda clutched her skirt, and closed her eyes. Callisto already knew her ears and neck were her most sensitive part of the body. Looking at her adorable reactions, how could he stay calm? Meanwhile, in her head, she was devotedly chanting the Buddha mantra in order to put away dangerous thoughts. His breath suddenly pulled away. Reassured that he has stopped his provocative prank, she opened her eyes, almost screaming out loud to see Callisto stripping all of a sudden. She looked away, after she caught a glimpse of his strong chest and eight pack abs. "Why are you taking off your clothes?"
"Because I thought the room was really hot?" He refuted innocently.
Velda replied in embarrassment. "Then, please do it while I am not here. Anyways, after you approve the divorce, I will be leaving shortly afterward."
Callisto stopped smiling at her sentence. Using one hand, he grabbed both her wrists, lifting her chin up forcing her to look at him in the eyes. "Why do you want to leave?" He mumbled as if he was hurt. "Even if you lose your powers as a hunter, I would like you to stay by my side."
Velda scoffed at his naivety. "I faced noble society along with you, but you know what's different? When I am with you, they treat me with respect. When you aren't there, I face looks of judgment, physical and verbal abuse. Yeah, you resolved the problem...only on the surface. You can't order them to stop their hostility towards me."
"But I..."
"Yeah, you tried your best. But if I were a powerless human, I fear my life would be in jeopardy whether it was daylight or in the night." Velda uttered. "When that happens, Callisto, you won't be able to stop them. And I will be just a burden to you."
Callisto took his hands off her wrist, understanding her perspective. Velda got up and leaned against the bed, exhausted from convincing him. Callisto embraced her, nuzzling his head against her cheeks. She felt something warm on her shoulders. She knew what it was, even without seeing his face. "I can do it." Callisto sobbed uncontrollably. "I can protect you."
Velda sighed, stroking his head. "No, you might lose your life trying to. I saw you heavily injured from your missions. If some assassins launched an attack on you while I was not here, you would have a hard time recovering and fighting back against them." She nudged her head against his. "I don't want to lose you, besides, I am also ..."
Before she could continue, he gently pressed his lips against her. Velda was taken aback by his sudden gesture, mustering strength to push him away. Callisto didn't budge. In fact, the more she resisted, the more excited he looked. As she opened her mouth to breathe, Callisto brushed his tongue between her lips, asking her to open it up. Velda, in bewilderment, meekly heeded to his request. Callisto pulled his bangs up, voicing his feelings. "Looking at such a seductive expression, who wouldn't be enticed?"
He rewarded her, sucking and rubbing his tongue against hers. She reciprocated by moving her tongue alongside his. It was warm, moist and slippery inside her mouth. As she opened her eyes to see Callisto's face and chest this close to her, her mind malfunctioned. Flushed red, her heart palpitating rapidly, whereas, unlike the elation she felt, her mouth was getting tired to keep up with him. She wondered when on earth this kiss would end?
While she was lost in her own thoughts, Callisto slid his hands in between her shirt and gently laid her down the bed. He pulled away from her, giving her time to breathe. He smiled, pleased to see a gentle gulp down her throat.
"Can we do what married couples do on their first night?" The puppy ears on his head drooped down, as he asked for consent, thinking she would surely turn it down.
Somehow, she felt sorry for him. He seemed to be holding back his desires, desperately yearning for her. Velda knew if she accepted, it might be harder for her to leave him, however, this being one last time they were ever going to see the other, she wanted him to keep longing for her even if it didn't last long. She replied. "Sure, if this is the condition to break off our marriage."
Callisto smirked, taking off his belt. "That is if you can still get up after we did it."
Velda feared she would regret this choice. "What are you....?!" Dexterously, he tied her hands together, using his belt, not too tight nor too loose so that she couldn't escape. She realized that she fell into his trap. His expression turned from a cute puppy's to that of a beast aiming to devour her whole. "You...liar!" A chill ran down her spine.
"My...my... what do you mean dear?" He denied her one-sided accusations, as if he was the wronged one. He smirked. "You consented to this of your own volition, did you not? Don't worry and leave everything to me." He uttered, plunging down to plant kisses onto her body. Starting from the abdomen, he worked his way up to the face, and slowly savored her sweet, plump lips. Pulling up her shirt, with a few fumbles, he managed to unhook the bra and lifted her skirt.
His eyes feasted upon her bare body, trailing down from her face down to her private part. Perhaps because of the cold, her body shivered under that silent gaze of his. It wasn't lustful nor similar to the pitiful looks she previously received from men around her. In her reflection through his eyes, she felt the affection he held for her. But, it couldn't be true, could it? These years, he'd never shown signs of love nor desire towards her.
Displeased that she was once again dazed whenever he was with her, he firmly pulled her body against his as if confining her warmth beside him. He glided his fingers across her body, his gaze fixated on her. She couldn't look at him straight. She was ashamed by the fact that she was aroused by his slightest touch. Leaving light kisses on her neck, Callisto moved his lips to her collarbone. Propping her neck, he sucked it harder and more intensely, satisfied with seeing a swollen, red hickey on the side of her shoulder.
Callisto was gleeful that only he could see such a cute side of hers. Throughout the whole process, Velda was busy gripping tightly onto the sheet or biting her lips so that she didn't let her voice out. Callisto would have been more than thrilled to see her moaning because of him, at the same time, he was excited at the thought of seeing her hold back tears under his violent thrusts and the feeling of contentment he could give her.
He resumed kissing her, and touched her breasts, gently stretching and massaging them. She let out a slight moan. "You like it?" He sucked her warm, squishy bosoms, circling his tongue on the area around her nipples. He liked how she quivered underneath his touch, but stubbornly refused to display her pleasure. He moved his hands down from the breasts to her hips, where he attentively removed her underwear. "Spread your legs." He commanded.
"..."
Velda was quite reluctant to do so, but still obeyed his order. As she opened her legs for him, exposing her most important part, he lowered his head in between her thighs. His hot breath, close to her vagina, was ticklish and made her body tingled for more. Callisto played with her clitoris and brushed his fingers around her vagina. "How fascinating. You are so wet although I haven't done anything yet." Velda didn't retaliate his words, instead, buried her head into the pillow. Callisto smirked without saying anything.
Honestly, he found this gesture cute, but if he said that, she might just run away because she would think he was teasing her as he always did. He stared at his fingers, lubricated with her wet juices. He muttered. "This should be enough."
Velda, who couldn't stand anymore of his taunts, scowled at him angrily. "What do you...." Her words were interrupted by Callisto's long fingers suddenly ramming into her. She clenched her teeth, trying to swallow his fingers inside of her without feeling the pain. "....please be gentle..." Her hole clutched his fingers tighter. He gently began prodding around, pushing one finger into her. Massaging the insides for a few moments, without warning, he put in another finger, shoving it back and forth, pleasuring her.
She was breathing heavier in response, almost reaching an orgasm. "Stop...!" She muttered. As though disregarding her wishes, he caressed the opening with his tongue while fingering her and slurped the inside. "Huff....haa....uhm!" She held onto his shoulders, and moaned loudly in pleasure. She could feel his hot tongue working his way in and out of her, the stimulation from both were just too much. She gripped the sheets as she reached a climax. She looked at Callisto, whose ears were tinged red and his fingers were covered with her moist fluid. Despite doing something steamy, at that moment, she couldn't help but think he was elegant, deserving the title of the most handsome men she'd seen in her life.
Velda was stunned. Callisto suddenly unzipped his pants, revealing the monstrous rod that was soon going inside of her. Unlike his gentlemanly demeanors, his bulging thing down there was..... Velda considered her options. There was no way she could fit that inside of her. Deciding fast, she made her escape before she was grabbed at the ankle, and slipped back underneath Callisto. He chuckled. "Did you think you had faster reflexes than a vampire, my dear?"
"No," Velda curtly replied. "But it seriously won't fit inside me."
"Really?" Adjusting his libido in front of her hole, Callisto entered her slowly. Just the penetration was pure torture. She rather he'd thrusted it in whole so that the pain she felt lasted for a short while. At the entrance, the rod was hot and massive, almost splitting her apart. "Ha....ahhh....."
Noticing that she was in pain, Callisto backed away, thinking he should have done a bit more to loosen her up. Before it slipped out, Velda wrapped her legs around him, so that he couldn't escape. "I want you." She declared firmly to Callisto.
Upon hearing this sentence, he lost his sense of reason. "I wanted to be gentle to you because it was your first time or did you cheat on me with someone else?" He propped her legs up, each onto his side of shoulders, as he thrusted vigorously into her moist, and hot insides. As he pulled out, he noticed that the blood splattered on the sheet.
He felt elated that her first time belonged to him. Every time he plunged deep, her hole was squeezing him so tight as if she didn't want to be let go. As he checked on how she was doing, he was surprised to see tears falling out of her eyes, weeping silently. He paused for a moment. "What's wrong?" Uncovering her eyes, he compelled her to tell him what the problem was.
She complained to him as he gently got rid of the tears. "The books lied to me! They said it would feel very good but I only feel pain."
"Well, I feel amazing." He started as he bulged bigger inside her. "So, I want you to feel the same." He moved his rod around, thinking. "I think it was.....here."
Velda's eyes widened in the sudden whirl of pleasure rushing towards her. "Ah...ahhhh!" What was this? Velda could only describe this as electrifying. It was stimulating her whole insides, making them squirm even more than before.
"It seems I was right." Callisto resumed moving, ramming his thing into her. Every time it rubbed against her sweet spot, she flinched in delight. Their intense movements made the bed creak and the heat spread into the room. It was even more lewd because she could barely hear the sounds their bodies were making together, nothing else. The squelches and the sounds coming from her mouth made her sheepish, squeezing the rod tighter and intensifying the pleasure between the two.
After several rounds, the two were entangled damp with sweat while they were connected from within. By the time Velda's mind was lost in pleasure, Callisto had already filled her up to the brim. She gasped for breath, learning from first hand experience that people can die from excessive sex.
"Already tired?" Callisto creeped up from behind, his rod still standing as magnificently as ever.
She stopped him. "Don't. I am tired."
He observed her bulging stomach, filled with cum. The sight of her hole leaking his semen out was very tempting to enter once again, but he held that thought. He wanted the very traces of his existence inside her to remain. He offered her two choices. "Either we use your other hole or we continue to have sex until your hole learns the shape of my thing."
"Can't you just go and take a cold shower?" Velda suggested a third path, conversing very seriously though their clothes were sprawled around the room and they were naked. It concerned her life after all.
"No can do." Callisto refused, as he crawled towards her.
Velda sighed, accepting her fate. "How did I not know you were such a sex maniac?"
"I am not."
"Yeah, keep denying it. You and I have been doing it for three hours and you don't look the least bit tired when you were the one who did all the moving!"
Callisto kissed the back of her hand. He laid her down beneath him, spread her legs, resting them on top of his shoulders. The tip of his body rested against her opening. Without giving her answers, he entered her hole quite smoothly due to the help of a certain lubricant working inside. Despite being aware, he shoved his thing with great force, his hips working hard.
In the first hour and half, she certainly had some energy to bite Callisto's neck and scratch his back in pleasure. Now, her lower half was completely numb. Her stomach was already full, but as he pushed his thing inside of her, she could see her belly protruding to the shape of his rod whenever he moved. Callisto seemed pleased that her insides were beginning to get used to his shape. He increased the speed of his thrusts, coming inside of her.
She took the chance while his guard was down to spray powder into his eyes, and immediately injected the drug into him.
"You....what did you...." He asked, as he plopped onto the bed, falling deep into sleep.
Velda replied in response. "I knew you wouldn't agree to the divorce, but I already gave you a chance, didn't I?" Velda said, waiting for the numbing sensation to wear off as she gently patted his head and stroked his hair.
Before the anesthesia lost its effects, she quickly took out the marriage contract and the divorce papers from the briefcase. Having seen his signature whenever he was working at home, it wasn't that hard to imitate as she initially thought. Clasping his hands in hers, she traced the signatures, the outcome being similar, but a tad bit wonkier. Since it was signed by Callisto himself, there should be no problem with the procedures.
She took a shower, cleaning herself properly before collecting the papers, and placing them back into her briefcase.
"Uhm...Don't go...."
She was startled, not expecting Callisto to be just mumbling in his sleep. He was tossing and turning around the bed, desperately searching for something or someone.
Although she wanted to keep her distance, she couldn't bear to see Callisto in tears, even if he was drunk. She reassured him, stroking his hair slowly, responding the same way Mrs. Dana would. "I am here. Do you need me for something?"
"No." Callisto shook his head slowly. "Just stay with me." He reverted back to an innocent kid, who chuckled in the presence of his mother. He smiled, going back to sleep.
Making sure not to wake him up, she silently tiptoed out of the room into the kitchen. She extracted her blood into glass bottles, which she carefully arranged in the refrigerator. Packing the necessary things essential for her survival, she pensively took a look at him one last time. His white, silky hair, emerald blue eyes, smooth skin, and finally his slender, long fingers were something she would never see again. She glided her fingers through his hair, imprinting this sensation into her mind.
Ever since the first year, she had never regretted marrying this guy. He was indifferent, and scary to befriend, however, the effort she put in to make him open up to her was as worth as a cat owner finally getting their pet to wash up in the bathroom peacefully. She kneeled down, putting on a bracelet onto his wrist. "This is all I can do for you and...," she wasn't able to carry on smiling. "I hope you live well even without me."
The wish she muttered for the sake of Callisto's safety hurt her more deeply than she thought it did. As soon as she realized that it didn't have to be her by his side, tears streamed down her face. She was easily replaceable by any hunter who was willing to give him blood in exchange for a lifetime of comfort. Prior to this, alone in the afternoon, she bawled her eyes out so hard that she didn't think she'd had more tears to spare. She caught a glimpse of her sleeves, damped salty with tears. She laughed slightly, astonished by how weak she was for Callisto and afraid her insecurities were slowly appearing without restraint.
Her personality was strong, brusque and mature, solving her troubles on her own without being vulnerable or depending on anyone, especially her close friends and Lisa. Throughout her whole life til university, she has lived this way. When Callisto first appeared, suggesting he would support all her finances in exchange for her blood, she considered him to be a lunatic. Who would discard their life savings willingly for someone they'd never met before?
She could feel his gaze towards her was not of love but rather desperation as if he had no other option. Besides his captivating face, he was dressed neatly like an aristocrat, and exuded an aura of something noble, different from her. Therefore, she avoided him, thinking it would be best not to run into him ever again. After a few more attempts to chase her, Velda was aware that he was truly resolute in striking a deal with her.
When she looked over the terms of the contract, it benefited her so greatly that she agreed to the contract. But, she never once let her guard down around him. During their years of beginning to live together, Velda loathed him. He'd never once flaunted the power of wealth, however, to her, it seemed as though demonstrating all her previous hard work was for naught in front of wealth and fortune. Though these ugly emotions were hidden from Callisto, at times, she felt that he was aware of how she felt, giving her personal space to sort out her feelings.
During the marriage, she grew to discard her pride, mask her true feelings, and talk in a roundabout way with nobles so that they won't be offended. What made Velda most elated was that the relationship with her husband made some progress. At the start of marriage, he wasn't even willing to talk to her. Due to this, whenever they went to banquets hosted by vampires nobles, they could see how distant the lovers were and took this chance to mock the two.
Moreover, Velda had a difficult time answering the madams' question that invaded her privacy. She couldn't tell them the truth nor feed them with fat lies. Confessing the truth would make nobles not willing to side with her, thus, making her lose her standing and not be treated with respect in the noble society. Falsifying non-existent facts will probably anger her indifferent husband. Both ways were a dead end, as a result, she blatantly avoided their questions, thus, this action invited looks of contempt that were fixed upon her.
Meanwhile throughout their marriage, just being able to engage in small talks of any topic made Velda cry tears of happiness as the couple could discuss the details of how to display their fake, passionate love in the presence of nobles. The results were as expected. After seeing how melodious their relationship was, the madams were surely slapped speechless in the face by their prior arrogant statements. They no longer came up to her with questions, that triggered panic within her, and instead warmed up to her.
A year and half passed. She gradually began accepting her marriage until she stumbled upon a book left on the desk in Callisto's room while cleaning. Past memories resurfaced, the stained past that she wanted to hide from everyone she was close to. According to the orphanage she was kicked out of, she was perhaps a monster. That was the sole reason for abandoning her. Her regeneration speed was faster than a normal human, and the skillfulness of her close combat abilities was high when she wasn't instructed on any martial arts. They found this extremely suspicious, alarmed that although the child may not have harmful intentions, her powers if known would bring difficulties to their peaceful abode.
Pondering the matter now, there were plenty of reasonable justifications for abandoning her. One reason why she could think this way was conversing with Callisto. As though he sensed her worries, he knew the exact phrases to say at the right time to comfort her. His words always made her feel better about herself and think in a positive direction.
Initially, upon finding out her identity as a hunter, she was vexed. Why didn't Callisto tell her anything if he knew? Was it because he thought she would break the contract terms and risk it all? Several questions popped up in her head, bursting to ask Callisto.
Nevertheless, after calming down with a cup of tea and thinking it over, she realized that there was no reason for Callisto to tell her anything. They weren't a real couple, so he probably thought it was unnecessary for her to know such things. After distinguishing their respective positions, she distanced herself away from him for a while, taking the time to plan her future without Callisto next to her.
The book stated a hunter's ability was never guaranteed, especially if they weren't trained under careful guidance. This must be why.....
If her powers were no longer imbued in her blood, she would not be qualified to receive his aid because she was no longer worth keeping. Rather than hearing Callisto coldly telling her to leave first, she vowed to call it quits if there were signs of her powers fading. That day, she made up her mind not to be dependent on Callisto, finish her studies and land on a stable job as soon as she could. During her free time, she never slacked off on exploring foreign companies with plenty of vacation days and leaves.
It looked like all her decisions back then were for this moment.
Sitting down, she clasped her hands together and placed it against her forehead. The ticking sound of the clock filled the room as she took a deep breath, composing herself. Contrary to her appearance with puffy eyes and runny nose, she nonchalantly drew a line between the two of them. She wished they would never see each other again in this life. Carrying her luggage, she tried not to make as much noise as possible, walking out of the room. "Goodbye." The door silently shut, as if mourning the peaceful end of their marriage.
