CHAPTER 4
It was first time for James to be born in a magical world. Replacing the existence of a son of a baron was indeed interesting for him as he had never been a part of nobility. He was the heir and did not have to worry about fighting for the lordship as he had already inherited at the age of 10. James did not do something serious till this time and had used all the time to use for learning.
Learning magic was something that he wanted to do. He tried and developed multiple paths of magic unknown to others. There were paths of mages and knights in this world and he tried learning both the method. With the existence of genetic engineering he learned and developed better training materials.
His body was in a special state and was able to maintain the state such that he was never able to downgrade his body. in this manner he was able to maintain constant energy and body particles. He was also able to use the particles and energy separately and then fix the mistake and then reuse the broken particles or energy. In this manner, he was able to maintain a perpetual state.
At the age of ten when he inherited the lordship many of the people under him tried to make fun of him. He was not a fool to show mercy and allow democracy to grow. When the basic knight tried to disobey him telling to others present that he was the strongest, James killed him in a single punch. What do they think about millions of years of inheriting a galactic empire? The power showed by the young lord was enough to shut up the people under him. Not only was it due to his current power but it was also due to the possible better future. The nearby lords were not much interested as due to the present power showed by the lord was more than enough to keep their hungry paws away.
He directly took the situation under control by his own power. He started teaching children at night wearing a dark dress. He teleported to many parts of the world and taught them different truth. He taught them common sense and methods to become strong. He taught them the better body refinement methods and mage meditation method.
The mana in his body and the vitality in his body was increasing in a terrifying rate. He created a borrowing method so that people were able to borrow vitality and mana from his body instead of absorbing from the air. The feedback from the increase of his students was more than enough for him.
After he created the spiritualism method, started teaching all animals from ants to wyverns. For all those animals who did not have spiritual consciousness, the enlightenment method was created and used. He created another teaching method that was able to directly able to imprint knowledge. He also creates the methods so that all that was taught by him will be etched on the bloodline so that the successive generations will also have the knowledge taught by him and the derived knowledge. After creating the spell, his innate powers evolved and had the three spells added. It was easy for him to enlighten the beings and imprint knowledge directly. He also started the projection method, where he was able to pass on the former methods to anyone who had seen anything he had created, for which he had wanted to have the function.
The projection power was also added to his innate skill. It seemed like the innate skill could evolve and he was happy to try different methods. To be on the safer side, he went to the farther part from his territory to teach others. The more others used his knowledge, the more he will be respected and loved.
He also started using the bloodline enlightenment combo on all animals seen and unseen. He also started using it on microbes and plants. Most of it failed due to not having biological structure to carry mind, but some was able to do it due to the availability of mana.
James was sixteen years old and it was time to go to the royal academy. It was mandatory to attend for two years. He had a lot of loyal people and hence used them to run the territory. His life was supposed to be enjoyed. It was better to become more powerful than to depend on the territory. He also send the vitality borrowing technique to his private army to make them extremely trained. He also taught many children the method of mages. All the people in his territory now were soldiers.
James was flying in the air using the flying spell. He was not interested in bringing people from his side as his political status might not be able to protect them. He was not interested in protecting his students, but his pride should not be challenged. He was always ready for war and to destroy the world if necessary.
When James landed in front of the gate the royal guards thought that he was an ordinary travelling mage. He did not talk too much to them. He showed them his ring proving that he was part of the nobility. He entered through the noble gates. The royal city was indeed more luxurious than his territory and that was not something that he could accept. He did not care much but he was a little angry. He thought of his past and found himself to more proud due to playing with the lives of humans in his fingers.
James went to the royal academy and went to the front reception. There were no other people there and he did not care much. He went over to the receptionist to get his room key. He said to her showing his ring, Lord James Fort, baron of the frontlines."
The receptionist looked down on lord in front of him. She could not show it because he was still a lord. He did not care much and went to the room where he was guided to. There was a person who was sent to guide him. He gave the person two gold coins and the valet was happy. The annual income of a whole baron territory was nothing more than ten gold coins. I silver was equal to 100 copper coins and 100 silver coins were equal to one gold coin. The valet bowed exceptionally and walked away.
The new day had come and the classes had begun. James went to the class and was happy to find out that he had to sit at the front seat. These pathetic children always wanted to play, knowing, they will inherit the lordships. He sat at the front seat and did not show much actions. The teacher came to the room and started teaching different etiquettes and other rules needed to be followed. James was able to answer the questions asked and was able to help the whole class from being scolded.
The class differentiation of the people was too high. James was not bothered at all as he was not worthy to be bothered. He was not someone that had to be troubled at all as he did not try to suck up to the upper class and the upper nobles did not care for him. Nobles of equivalent status did not want to care for him and hence chose to ignore him. And hence the whole academy knew of the odd noble James Fort who was not interested in any communications.
James was walking to the tea party he was invited to. The daughter of the viscount had invited him as he was one of the powerful barons. His territory was already one of the powerful ones and he had made it more powerful. His spreading of knowledge made the world more chaotic and the fact that he was able to maintain the territory and to make it stronger and expand it further to the forest was not something an ordinary baron could do. James entered the party to find out that the daughter of the viscount was the only one among the viscount class. All others were second sons of barons and none of them here had any standing against him. He was warmly invited by Clara, the daughter of the viscount. He smiled and entered and sat down on the seat after giving the gift.
Clara took the gift and gave it to the maid aside. She smiled and spoke, "It is nice that you came. What would you prefer? Cherry flavoured pastry or strawberry flavoured pastry."
James spoke in proper manner, "Cherry please"
The others were interested in speaking, but knowing that no matter how high they climb, they will be nothing more than advisors to some other lords, kept silent. Only John smiled and spoke, "How do you work without maids? I have not seen you having a maid by your side."
James spoke, "I have spells to take care of everything. It is unnecessary to have some maid."
Someone spoke, "Maid are needed."
Other spoke, "You may be looked down on."
Claire also spoke, "It is unnecessary to think about these. But you should indeed care about these lord barons. Sometimes it is necessary to show off your status."
James smiled and spoke, "Do you know why your father was not able to keep his territory, Claire?" The smile on the face of Claire was removed and others were also scared. James spoke with a smile, "Let me tell you all the truth about nobility. Nobility is built on the head of loser and maintained on the blood of commoners. Only through strength can nobles stay noble." James released his aura and the whole academy started shaking. He continued, "Only strength is supreme."
Claire could not believe the truth and argued, "Then why are the royals and nobles till ruling the world?"
James smiled and said, "All kinds of strength are strength. You being the daughter of viscount is also strength. The authority represented by kings are also strength. Every kind of power should be utilized to stand strong."
Claire had the smiled return to her face. She poured some tea and gave it to James. "You are indeed powerful."
James said, "I have an army. A very powerful army. Who do you think is maintaining the forest borders."
John smiled and asked, "Then what should be my power? Lord!"
James said, "You can talk. You are able to talk here and I have no negative feeling towards that. That should say something. You can also try talking like this to a prince and see what happens. You can also try to talk to those arrogant brats who are just the heir to barons. No one will know whether they will die on the path back to their home. There are many ways."
John smiled and asked, "How do you take care of your brothers? How are they?"
James also smiled and spoke, "They are dead. I killed them in front of my subordinates myself. Subordinates should not be given a second chance to think about loyalty. "
John was scared a little. He asked, "Are you not scared about the royal family. They can punish you."
James released the aura again and spoke, "I am a knight saint above the great knight. My power alone is to grant me the position of an earl in the past times. In this troubled world what do you think my value is? Do you think they will care about the trash of my family members? Only I am the most talented in all the family tree, what do you think will happen when they know it. Nothing special will happen. They will just falsify testaments and make me a saint and grant me better gifts. Even if I do not support anyone and stay detached, no one will be against me as the ones at the top are not foolish and the foolish ones at the top will die sooner or later."
Claire spoke while drinking the tea, "We should not be speaking about these things."
James spoke, "Don't worry. I am completely strong enough to speak. By the way, why have you invited me here."
Claire spoke, "There are some rumours that you are rich and we thought that you could help us in earning some side money."
James took some chocolates from his space and gave it to Claire and others. After they ate the chocolate, they were surprised.
James stood up and put some chocolate cardboard boxes in front of him. He spoke, "Try selling these chocolates at a proper price. Do not sell at too high a price and lose the chance to make an impact at the market and do not sell at too low a price to make me sad. You can take half the money you sell for. If you satisfy me, I will grant you the chance."
James walked away while others stood up in respect. It was interesting to him to find that he was climbing the ladder, though he did not want to. He returned to his room and lay down to sleep.
