After Midoriya's match, Midoriya went to his class and noticed that Sora was waiting for him, Midoriya walked up to him and was about to say something but Sora gave him an earbud and told him to put it on, He did and waited, confused as Sora pressed the play button as music started and he recognizes it, He listened carefully and slowly fell asleep at how alluring and calming the music is, Sora placed Midoriya's head on his shoulder, letting him rest a bit, Sora and the rest watched as the next match started
After a bit Midoriya woke up and found himself leaning on Iida, He immediately apologized as he hears loud explosions, Seeing Bakugo's and Kirishima's match started, He looked around but didn't see Sora nearby
"Higurashi-kun said he was going to prepare for his match, He'll be up against Ojiro-kun who excels in martial arts, He's going to have to make a counter plan against his tail"
Midoriya nodded and saw that he still had Sora's phone and earbuds, He was always curious on why Sora was so secretive with his phone and now he could know, He was able to open Sora's phone and blushed when he saw that he was the cover photo, He decided to go through Sora's gallery and saw that it was mostly filled with photos of Midoriya from different angles, Midoriya continued to scroll through it and saw there wasn't much photos of Sora, Just of Midoriya and other random things
"Doesn't he at least take one photo of himself.." Midoriya frowned but suddenly Sora's Manager started calling, Midoriya panicked and answered accidentally as he was about to say something he was cut off by Kyotoku
"Hey, Sora-kun, Just calling to tell you that I finished that lullaby you wanted but I had to ask, Are you sure you want to rehearse and make this music video public? Isn't it.. a bit.. personal? And.. sad..? It's just.. it doesn't fit your usually happy and cheery personality"
Midoriya was confused, Normally, Sora would tell him whenever he'd release a new song or even tell him how his day was, Sora would even let him listen to the demo first
"...Hey, I know you don't like talking about it to but I'm sure this song will help some people, Don't worry, Everything is set, We have the permission of your old school, We can use the rooftop as much as we want, I'll see you then, Sora-kun"
The call ended as Midoriya put the phone down, He knew which school Sora's Manager ment but why were they meeting there, what music video were they talking about, He was so deep in thought he didn't notice that Iida and Uraraka, who just came back from the restroom, were calling for him, telling him to look up since Sora's match was about to start
Midoriya looked up and saw that Bakugo and Kirishima's match was already done, looking like Bakugo won as Kirishima was being taken away by emergency robots as Present Mic announced that the next match would be starting soon
Iida and Uraraka asked Midoriya why he seemed distracted and Midoriya told them about the phone call and about the video they were going to film
"I- I know that I shouldn't have but.. I'm worried.. I want to know what's going on so could you guys come by with me to our old school so I can find out what's happening?"
"Of course, Deku-kun! I'm also curious on what Sora-kun is hiding!"
"We shouldn't be doing this, This is an invasion of privacy but.. since Midoriya-kun is Sora-kun's partner, it gives him the right to be worried about him so I guess I shall come too"
Midoriya smiled as they hear Present Mic announce
"Alright everyone! It's now time for the Semi-Final Matches!" The screen changes and showed the semi final participants as everyone stared in confusion at the order
One-on-One Tournament Semi Finals
Sora Higurashi vs Ojiro Mashirao
Izuku Midoriya vs Katsuki Bakugo
Midoriya was nervous and watched as Mic announced that the next match would start soon
"Alright everyone!, Were nearing the end of our tournament, Give it up for music sensation, Sora Higurashi! Vs Martial Arts Expert, Ojiro Masahiro!"
Sora and Ojiro were already standing in the arena, watching each other closely as Sora puts gloves on that had small speakers on them, they look like their able to be attached and detached from the gloves
"Here's to a good match, Ojiro-kun and what do you think about my new gear, Pretty interesting right?"
Sora showed of his gloves as Aizawa chimed in
"Don't worry, he went through the proper paperwork so he's allowed to use them, At first he wanted to sneak them in but I caught him"
Sora smiled and chuckled, scratching the back of his head while the audience laughed
"To a good match, Sora-kun and I plan to win, Even if you have the advantage of your support items"
They got into their fighting stances, Ojiro charged towards Sora, using his tail to attack while Sora dodged by jumping up high but as he was about to land, Ojiro used his tail to attack him in the air, Sora took the hit but wasn't hit out of bounds by grabbing his tail then letting go fast, ending up in a rough landing
"Sorry but I won't be that easy to beat!" Sora took out an AMP cord, He connected them to his speakers and connected it to the back of his neck, which surprised everyone, Even Midoriya since he never noticed an AMP plug on the back of his neck whenever He and Sora... 'Made out' They never went further than neck kissing, since Midoriya isn't physically, mentally or emotionally ready for more than that yet
Sora threw the speakers to the side as a thin but strong string allowed him to retract them as he yelled out
"Sound Stun" The moment Sora activated his quirk, No sound came from his mouth but sound came from the speakers, which temporary made Ojiro cover his ears, Sora used this chance and ran up to Ojiro, Before he could react, Sora punched Ojiro in the face and pushed him out of bounds
Sora and Ojiro were out of breath as Midnight announced Sora's victory
Sora's legs gave out, both the high jump and the hard landing affected him more than he thought as he tried to get up, being supported by Ojiro
"Sorry bout this.. Looks like I tired myself more than I expected.." Sora smiled as he and Ojiro walked away, going to recovery girl's office
