Zero stood there in horror, as he he watched the dragon pass. But he knew that the black ancient dragon noticed him. He remembered a quote someone said,
"if you see the enemy, the enemy can see you also."
The black dragon immediately turned back to face Zero since it felt a strong presence from him. It knew that were equal in magic power but in raw power it was better than Zero. It then turned into a smaller body to face him.
Zero immediately started to apply some enchantments to himself.

Zero immediately started to use healing magic on himself. The blood he lost slowly recovered. The bones, and organs he punctured slowly started to heal back. He then started to use the soul magic he had.
An bow started to form in his hands. The color was mixed with black and white. This signified the dark and pureness his have not combined into one. Zero started to pull back his bow to shoot at the dragon. The Dragon noticed what Zero was doing, so It immediately went towards him.
The dragon wasn't fast enough. Zero aimed towards the head of it. He let his grip on it which made it go forward. It flowed through the air, then Zero command it to split into 5 separate soul arrows. Each one of the arrows periced through it's scales which left many openings. He then activated another type of soul magic.
Zero's bow started to form into a grey winged spear. He then went into a defensive position. He knew he couldn't parry anything with it so that's why he went into the defensive. The dragon came towards him like a bullet.
The dragon pierced through the soul Spear and stabbed him in the stomach. Zero felt his soul was close to shattering.
When using the soul arts, it uses the soul of the user. When the soul art it self gets destroyed by an opponent, it can cause the user to have a near death experience of death.
Zero nearly passed out by the action the ancient dragon did. He left his guard down which was take advantage of by the dragon. The dragon punted Zero towards a near boulder. Zero broke the boulder by the sheer strength shown by the Dragon.
He flew for a while before he landed into a tree. He started to cough up blood since he got one of his organs punctured. He breathed heavily, as he dragged himself to his feet. He looked in the direction of the dragon.
He started to run forward it's direction. Zero took the risk of activating another type of soul art. He concentrated as he ran. A grey sword that crackled within the air started to form.
He swung his sword towards the dragon head, to decapitate it. But ultimately the dragon dodged his attack. Zero anticipated this so he used other hand to form another sword. He then slashed it's head but saw it did no damage.
'Damn, this motherfucker has tough skin to go through!' Thought Zero.
The dragon then threw another punch to Zero's head. But before it even connected, Zero got a notification.
