Having concluded their reunion with each other, Zou Jiayi decided not to waste any more time with idle chatter. As much as he wished to spend more time with his younger brother, he didn't quite have the hours to spare. If he was ever to overthrow Jingxun Zhenyi and bring the Jing Clan under his reign temporarily, then he needed to act with haste.
He couldn't remain for much longer in Qinyun Jie, especially with the matter of his crimes bearing down on his shoulders. His punishment had not yet been decided and he didn't doubt that it wouldn't be long before he and Huo Renyi were summoned back to Xue Ling Ridge.
And before Zou Jiayi would resign himself to his punishment, he needed to infiltrate the Shan Clan to seek more information regarding the poisoned arrows, as well as if there was any communication between them and the Imperial Palace directly.
There was much to do and very little time to spare.
