Heiyuan rubbed his jawline from pain, pouting sullenly the entire time Chi Cheng accompanied him to his chambers in the Guest Disciple Quarters.
"Grandmaster, did you really have to hit me so mercilessly?" Heiyuan complained in a whiny tone. "You already cut off my tail in the past for trying to mate with you! It took a whole month for it to grow back."
Chi Cheng whacked him on the back of his head, clicking his tongue.
"I should have cut off more than just your tail," the former Celestial Beast remarked with a soft smile. "I assumed you were like my other serpent beasts who like being intimate in a non-sexual way."
"Tsk," Heiyuan scoffed playfully, folding his arms behind his head. "I don't think I can impersonate my Master's voice perfectly so…I'm hoping they don't talk to me too much."
