Chi Cheng was bewildered to witness a furious expression on Han Leixin's face. The Han lad usually conducted himself harmoniously and was rather composed despite his young age, yet he glared daggers at Huo Renyi who arrogantly scoffed and shifted his gaze away.
Sensing the brewing tension in the atmosphere, Chi Cheng gently touched Han Leixin's shoulder and coaxed the lad with a pleasant smile.
"Why don't you two take a little break?" Chi Cheng suggested, guiding Han Leixin and his younger brother to seat themselves on two chairs beside the dresser in the room. "It won't hurt to take a breather before you conduct the morning exercises, no?"
Han Leixin reluctantly agreed, exhaling sharply while he relaxed his expression. Han Jianyu eagerly scouted the room, fidgeting with his half-gloved hands that were placed on his lap.
