The Grandmaster tilted his head to the side, listlessly blinking as he studied Chi Cheng with suspicion and interest.
"Your perception of the world and those around you is so profound, Ah-Xin," the Grandmaster remarked amicably. "How many lives have you led before this one?"
If Han Xuelian had asked him such a question in the past, Chi Cheng's heart would have thundered anxiously.
Yet now, such questions were of little concern to him.
"More years than I can count," Chi Cheng answered truthfully. "I have seen too much and almost everything. There is nothing that fazes me enough to judge others."
