Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Chapter 5: Chronicles of Conflict

Death tolls were rising at a frightening rate. The mighty giants had wiped out the once-great metropolis of the Elysian Realm, leaving it in ruins. The Ashen Empire took a disproportionate share of the damage and lost a large number of people. Over the barren landscape, Goblins and Ashen warriors made up over 75% of the casualties. Amidst the mayhem, other dragons were seen lying wounded on the battlefield.

Despite her dwindling strength, Celestina Everdawn continued to slaughter Goblins. Despite the giant's chaotic devastation, the Archers banded together to face it. Both sides' armies collapsed under the weight of the giant's assaults.

Even though she was weak, Celestina mustered all her might and charged at every adversary she could see, resolute in her determination to stand her position.

But a charging dragon hit her with tremendous power, throwing her into the air while she was unconscious and bleeding heavily, taking advantage of her frail condition.

In the latter moments of the conflict, the last heavenly behemoth stumbled, losing its strength and eventually tumbling to its knees. The behemoth was poisoned and paralyzed until it ultimately fell as a result of the four archers' unrelenting onslaught of explosive arrows.

The surviving Ashen troops and Goblins were taken captive by the Archerian Kingdom, who owned Triumph. While some would help rebuild the city, others would be imprisoned beneath. Perched on his sly smirk, King Morvyn of the Archerian Kingdom had an overwhelming sensation of power as he watched the aftermath.

Congratulations, Moria Cyprus! You have won. I shall assert my title to the holy land and declare my dominion over this continent. Is my father proud of me? "You were skeptical of my abilities," King Morvyn said with a ferocity that echoed through the palace.

The enormous magical power that Morvyn radiated from his thick beard and intense blue eyes belied his towering stature. Even the most courageous warriors were scared away by the evil aura coming from his laughing, which distorted the ground itself. He seemed untouchable, unstoppable by any hostile might, thanks to his incredible power.

On the other hand, King Elric of the Elysian Realm seemed incredibly serene in defeat, standing erect with a shining crown and the power to manipulate light.

It seems this is our destiny. "A duel against that upstart Morvyn," King Elric said, seeming unfazed by the battle's conclusion.

King Elric, fearing this would be his last struggle, came rushing out of his castle armed with the enormous sword Excalibur, realizing he was his realm's last chance.

King Elric leaped into the air, destroying the terrain around the Archerian fortress as he landed, all while directing his mystical aura. Even Celestina's badly wounded body was swept aside by the might of his intimidating aura, which warded off the Archerian troops who tried to assault him.

"The King will not succumb to your likes," said an Archerian soldier who was almost dead.

A powerful black aura surged from Moria, engulfing the area in total darkness as it fell. He would be so powerful that even the Albacore would seem weak in comparison.

Greetings, long-lost companion. Were you expecting to be here today?" Moria gave a menacing grin.

Elric said, "Am I genuinely a king if I don't protect my people?" in response.

Worry not. "I will be their ruler," Moria said evilly.

The combat began as the kings unleashed their combined magical strength.

Intertwined in a complex web of strife, this battle had not lasted just hours but millennia. In the now-desolate Republic of Arianth, on the continent of Crayden, four hundred and twenty years ago, it all started. The people of that period held the heavenly being Azaleth in the highest esteem because of his courageous and proud reputation. After being vanquished by God's angels in his ambition to defy the skies, Azaleth was split into four entities charged with supervising the multiverse.

Republic of Arianth collapsed due to social unrest induced by Azaleth's erasure from history. The four kingdoms that sprang from it were the Aslaenian, Elysian, Archerian, and Arthurian empires. In their pursuit of Crayden and the holy country above the clouds, these countries fought tooth and nail.

Once a republican outpost, the Archerian Kingdom has transformed into a metropolis above a brilliantly blue sea. Defeating the empire, the Albacore beheaded the Arthurian Kingdom. After the killing of its ruler, the Aslaenian Empire fell, but the Elysian Realm remained, albeit in ruins.

The Ashen Empire, already battered by the seemingly endless conflict, was staring down the nose of defeat. King Balthasar stood up, knowing this may be their last showdown.

A battle entwined with the fabric of time, the fight between two monarchs unfolded with a foreboding clash of magical forces.
