Chapter 53 - 53) Savage Beast

BEHEMOTH & SABERTOOTH

Sabertooth reached Behemoth, throwing a punch towards his chest before being knocked back by a jab. Sabertooth held his cheek while it throbbed in pain.

Sabertooth became more cautious and instead patiently walked around Behemoth, just outside his range.

Sabertooth went in again, and Behemoth tried to keep him away with another jab, but he went under it and threw a hook at his waist. Behemoth felt a little pain but was surprised by how little it hurt, and with his other hand, he hooked Sabertooth.

Sabertooth stood his ground and hit Behemoth with a hook to the face. Behemoth went in for another hook, but Sabertooth stepped backwards out of the way, followed by a jab to the face.

"I think I have the hang of things now," Sabertooth said as metal claws slowly pierced through his knuckles. "Surrender now, or your death will really hurt," he added.

"I refuse," replied Behemoth.

"Then so be it," replied Sabertooth.

Sabertooth rushed in, and Behemoth's jab flew past him as blood trickled from his arm and a set of metal claws pierced through his arm, and he felt a sharp pain.

Sabertooth took out his claws from his arms and pushed his arms towards Behemoth's chest before stepping backwards from a left hook.

Behemoth went for another jab, and Sabertooth followed with his own as their fists collided and the claws pierced through Behemoth's hand, but Sabertooth still groaned in pain as his entire arm tingled in pain with the bones in his knuckles cracking.

Sabertooth, slightly dazed, couldn't dodge the following jab to his face as he stepped backwards again, holding his nose as blood gushed out and he was starting to feel numb.

Sabertooth started to become visibly angry, with veins around his neck and face becoming more prevalent before going away as he calmed his breathing and became more relaxed.

While this happened, Behemoth walked towards a nearby lampost, ripping it from the ground and dragging it along the floor as he marched towards Sabertooth.

Sabertooth charged towards him before being knocked away by a strike from the lampost that now formed a small dent. Sabertooth quickly stood up and held his waist for a while before charging it once more.

Behemoth swung it sideways again, but Sabertooth pierced it with his claws and yanked it out of his hands before slamming it into Behemoth's head, causing him to take a step back.

As the metal pole fell to the ground, Sabertooth dashed towards Behemoth and, with both his hands, trusted his claws into him as the blood trickled to the ground.

Behemoth went in for a hook, but Sabertooth quickly manoeuvred out of the way before dashing towards him. Behemoth, using the same arm, swung it towards Sabertooth like a hammer, causing Sabertooth to fall to the ground.

Behemoth stamped on Sabertooth as he groaned in pain. Sabertooth stabbed his leg and pulled downward, tearing through Behemoth's leg as he groaned in pain while blood gushed out.

Behemoth stepped back, almost falling to the ground as his leg shivered, trying to hold him up. Behemoth managed to stay up, but now Sabertooth was back on his feet.

"I told you it would hurt," Sabertooth said, spitting blood out of his mouth and wiping blood from his nose.

"You talk too much," replied Behemoth.

Sabertooth started to get angry, and the veins appeared once more. He tried to keep himself calm. His eyes turned bloodshot, and he started to act like a wild beast, his rationality gone.

Behemoth was taken aback as Sabertooth started to yell and roar like an animal.

Sabertooth rushed towards Behemoth, who, in response, threw a hook that connected, but despite that, Sabertooth continued going forward as he stabbed Behemoth in the chest, almost piercing his heart.

Behemoth's leg gave out, and as he started to fall, he headbutted Sabertooth, who tumbled backwards. As he tried to rush towards him again, Behemoth mustered all the strength in his leg to throw an uppercut.

Sabertooth flew backwards onto the ground, and it seemed like he had lost consciousness. Behemoth slowly dragged himself to a nearby truck as he laid down against it, holding his wounds.

Behemoth looked towards Sabertooth, who started to rise while growling. Behemoth got back to his feet, his back against the truck as support, as Sabertooth started to rush towards Behemoth.

Sabertooth performed a frontal dive with his claws pointed directly towards Behemoth. Both sets of claws pierced Behemoth as the force caused him to bash into the truck behind him, causing it to fall on its side.

Sabertooth took out his claws, and as he was about to stab again, Behemoth clenched his fists together and slammed down onto his head. Sabertooth fell to one knee before he quickly got back to his feet and started to rapidly stab Behemoth.

Blood gushed from his wounds as a puddle formed under him. As Sabertooth continued to claw him down, Behemoth let loose a barrage of punches. This continued for a while, with Behemoth's chest full of puncture holes and blood and Sabertooth's face bruised and bloody.

Sabertooth went for an uppercut, but Behemoth put his hand in the way. Even that didn't stop Sabertooth's claws from piercing his hand and going through his bottom jaw as the taste of blood became overwhelming in his mouth.

Sabertooth took his claws out and pierced Behemoth in the chest once again, but as he tried to pull them out, they wouldn't budge. Behemoth contracted his muscles, keeping the claws tight inside him and stuck.

Behemoth yelled at the top of his lungs before unleashing a storm of punches at Sabertooth as his face became almost unrecognisable.

Sabertooth retracted his claws before piercing a small hole in Behemoth's heart. Behemoth's arms fell, and he tumbled backwards to the floor, his back against the truck, as blood continued to gush from his wounds.

Sabertooth looked into the air and roared in victory before holding his head. His bloodshot eyes started to turn back to normal, and his breathing steadied. He looked towards Behemoth and stepped back, disappointed and sad.

"I'm sorry. It didn't have to be this way," he said as he started to walk away from Behemoth, whose breathing was rapid and blood continued to gush from almost everywhere on his body.

Sabertooth, with his back against Behemoth, held his head, and a searing pain was in his head. He was slightly limping as blood dripped from his nose onto the floor.

Sabertooth could hear the sounds of water from behind him, and curiously, he turned around to be slammed in the face by a fire hydrant with a man in a red and blue suit with a black spider on his chest next to Behemoth.
