Instantly, he stood up with widened eyes as he stared at the screen.
The members of Unit 2 were still killing the Rogue Beasts without any hassle, but now, Verne knew what was coming.
"Shit, shit," Verne muttered as he started walking back and forth in his office.
For a second, he was confused, and didn't know what to do, but at the end, he was the one in charge of everything, so he had to remain composed and handle it carefully.
There was no use panicking, so Verne instantly closed his eyes and started taking deep breaths.
He knew that if he panicked, he would do the wrong thing, so he decided to calm himself first, before taking any decision.
Seconds later, Verne opened his eyes, and he was now relaxed a bit, though, the nervousness could still be felt from him.
