They are now talking about the souls that they're 'gatherers' have been collecting lately. Anubis is so disappointed that they just get low lives, peasants who were trained to be soldiers and not pure blooded warriors, kings or generals. Hmmm….there's news that General Ami of Nubia has waged war against Pharaoh Henshupta! That's interesting, considering that Ami is a young newbie and Henshu is a well-trained soldier at a very young age. This, I want to see!, Anubis said while touching his beard. Wetwawet is seated on his high chair not caring about the battle after all. Ahhh….we are just collecting low live souls and this game they're playing is just child's play! Hmp!, I am not interested in their nonsense!, Wetwawet placing his hand on his chin as a sign of his boredom. Why can't we see kings and leaders of Persia or Mesopotamia wage war. O love to see Xerxes die since he has this annoying charm in him that I want to see here with us. He can be a valuable addition to my collection of powerful souls in bottles, hahahahah!!!
Haaa, shut your marbles! Xerxes won't die you dimwhit, we already let him die then performed a sorcery where he will never die unless he is struck down by the gods themselves!, Anubia added punching Wetwawet with his fist that grew large like a mountain sending Wetwawet buried on their stone walls of the afterlife, death and ruins.
Hmmm…aha! Ugh!!! You should learn to control your temper brother!, Wetwawet said smiling with his teeth falling off after the punch.
I walked along the palace gardens the next morning and saw Meraek smiling at me. I pulled her alongside a smaller version of a sphinx not knowingly that I already ravaged her lips since I missed her so much. Meraek laughed because we were just like little kids running away from the palace guards and my nemes falling from my head. Though, ours is forbidden, my love for her grows every day. One council elder is searching for me and I pulled Meraek closer so he won't see us, thus, we fell on the stony ground, both on top of each other. I felt my knees weakening as Meraek kiss me gently on the lips, then, I deepened it and we made love on that summer day, among the beautiful flowers and the man-made creek one of my viziers built for me since I wanted to smell the waters from the Nile every mornings.
The day came when I needed to lead my army to battle. I didn't want to fight General Ami but I never once back down from a challenge. Meraek told me to leave the fighting to my generals but I insisted on giving Ami a talk of peacefully meet half way in our differences to avoid bloodshed, the reason why I needed to protect my soldiers and to spare Ami's precious life.
I pray to you Lord Sakhmet, please help me, help me to protect my troops from bloodshed. Not my will, but yours be done!, I uttered while my generals are preparing our soldiers to journey in between Aswan of South Africa and Khartoum in Sudan.
My soldiers, sons and daughters of Amun! Hear me and follow me to protect and fight for Egypt from Nubian challenge of invasion. I am Henshupta, your Queen Regnant, your Pharaoh, ask you to fight alongside me and win this war against Nubia!!!!, I shouted from the top of my lungs standing at the podium outside my palace and in the training grounds.Khons
My soldiers shouted and screamed, hail to pharaoh!!! Hail to Queen Henshupta that will win us this war!!!! Hail Khons. Hail Pharoah!!!!
Some of my soldiers travel through chariots, some through horses and some by feet. We are about twenty thousand in total, maybe half as the Nubians are I the battlefield. My army is invincible and we were taught just like the Spartans in a our most sophisticated way in fighting, killing and protecting ourselves while in the battlefield. My warriors are called "machimoi", then, my chariotry, army and navy would form a straight line in front of our enemies.
A long way to go from Egypt to the middle of Africa and Sudan. This place held memories when I was younger I used to join the military to train and practice war games with my fellow soldiers or warriors at a very young age of seven years old.
Near the Nile, the desert is hot and dry, the soldiers needed to rest when Nubians are already charging from the other side of the Nile facing Sudan. Ready your arms consist of battle swords, axes, knives, spheres, javelins and metal cranes. The infantry division fired arrows first to meet the enemies half way and kill most of the front liners. Which was effective in five repetitive shots by five thousand archers hitting three thousand of Nubian soldiers in front. I can see almost thirty thousand of Nubians at the far end of the middle ground. And we are now charging to fight the front then middle and the back infantry lines. I saw Ami coming to me like lightning which I avoided by jumping from my horse and standing upright in front of her. I asked my iron clads to make me an armor which I can run and move quickly from without issues. Which they did and now I can move swiftly without Ami hitting or catching me.
Ami is frowning and she seems so frustrated that I am escaping her hits and when she had the chance to garb my shoulder she did and knocked me off my feet. Ami punched me on the face that bled instantly and I covered my arms to protect my face from her punches. Since she is bigger and taller than me in three inches or more, she used her weight to pin me down. I learned in training that not all opponents know jujitsu or ground combat which is I am so fond of doing to defeat my enemy. So I positioned my legs on one of Ami's and locked them so she couldn't move or stand. Then, when she lost a grip on her sword I took the chance to swerve on the right to lay on top of her which I did. Gods, why in the hell soldiers and generals are so beautiful that I couldn't help but pity killing them. Ami is a looker and has big boobies, but as young as I am I can't be distracted by her looks nor her power so I punched her face which bled on the mouth and cheeks, then I kissed her on the lips, whispering for her to give up and just let it go. Her eyeballs turned black and spitted out a black sort of tint that blinded me. I also learned that even without eyes you can fight and so I did. Ami laughed at me and said that she I am mocking her ability to kill me. So she ran and struck me on the stomach but I heard her footsteps farther that she saw me that I got my knife at the back of my armor and thrust it in her navel. She said that I need to kill her and if I did that she'd be very happy to have fought me in this war. No, I said, but Ami pulled me closer so that the knife would enter her gut and killed her instantly. What a sad ending for a new found friend. I really hated wars, I really hate it so much I wept when Ami died in my arms.
