Sam and Ava had decided to go home for the summer vacation. Besides seeing their long-unseen parents, they had a more important and unavoidable purpose.
At least until this purpose was achieved, they couldn't do anything out of line.
Ava looked at Sam's profile, her gaze not on the scenery outside the window. She asked softly.
"Brother... if you don't want to, it's okay to delay it a bit longer."
Sam turned to look at his sister, smiling.
"I don't want to make you wait too long. Saying it now or later doesn't really make a difference."
Does it make a difference?
Perhaps it might. For instance, letting them notice some clues first and then revealing the truth might make it smoother.
But Sam didn't plan to drag it out. Sometimes, waiting for the perfect moment is fine, but how can you make a girl who truly loves you wait too long, until she's disappointed, until she's repeatedly frustrated?
