Chapter 406 - Locate

"Otherwise, the longer it parasitizes the host's body, the more energy it will absorb."

"Moreover, it is highly likely that the remnants of the soul in a body infested by the Source of Venom over time will completely dissipate."

"When that happens, the primary soul of the individual who appeared here will also gradually vanish."

After hearing Roma's explanation, everyone finally understood the events that occurred before Jasper's death and gained a general idea of the mysterious entity called Venom.

However, Jasper was terrified by her final words. Trembling, he repeatedly bowed to Zane and Roma, pleading in a pitiful voice:

"Great deities from the most exalted Universe, I beg you, please help a fellow human from Earth—me, Jasper!"

"I'm not afraid of that thing called Venom draining my soul; I'm more worried about that heartless creature abandoning my body in the wilderness halfway through."

"And then… letting my beautiful, flawless body get picked up by some old hag who might… do something unspeakable."

"Ugh, such nonsense! I'm afraid I can't help you. Go find someone else!" Roma scoffed and, pulling Lorna with her, walked off to the side.

Seeing this, Jasper immediately turned his pitiful gaze toward Zane.

Zane thought for a moment before saying gravely, "Fine. Since we know its appearance and characteristics, finding it will be much easier."

Boom!

As soon as Zane finished speaking, an enormous fiery red phoenix apparition erupted from him, enveloping the entire majestic ancient castle.

Everyone looked up in awe. Though they had witnessed Zane's Phoenix Force several times in the Divine Realm, they had never seen it in such a massive form.

Their hearts couldn't help but tremble with reverence.

Meanwhile, Jasper's translucent soul, hiding in a corner, was bathed in the glowing flames. His expression alternated between relaxation and tension, as if he both resisted and desired to approach this life-giving warmth.

Then, the massive phoenix apparition spread its fiery wings, adorned with glowing embers, and soared into the sky.

Suddenly, it burst into countless tiny specks of light that scattered instantly across every corner of Earth.

Like a meteor shower, the lights rained down from the castle, illuminating the clear skies.

Moments later, everyone watched as a cluster of flames re-entered Zane's body through the top of his head.

Zane's pupils glowed briefly. He spoke calmly and deliberately:

"Found it!"

After sleeping soundly in Jasper's ancient castle the group set off at noon to the airport. They boarded a long-range aircraft to travel to the location where Zane had pinpointed the suspected presence of Venom.

Since Zane and his companions were mostly high-dimensional beings, their inherent conflict with the fundamental laws of this Ultimate Universe 1610 posed a risk.

On fragile planets like Earth, directly employing temporal or spatial powers could inadvertently destroy the planet, which had only recently been reborn. Such an outcome would be counterproductive to their mission and deemed a significant loss.

Additionally, Rocket and Groot expressed a strong desire to experience the civilization of this unfamiliar planet—a place they had never had the opportunity to visit, even though it was no longer the Earth from Zane's original universe.

Taking these factors into account, Zane decided to lead the group in using human aircraft as their mode of transportation.

During the journey, Zane and his companions, having been away from human society for a long time, found themselves without even the most basic means of making cash payments.

They had to rely on Zane's [King's Treasury], filled with dazzling gold bars. On occasion, Zane would even pull out a fully gold-crafted 417-style humanoid armor, using it as payment without needing any change, leaving onlookers utterly stunned.

At this moment, Zane and Lorna chose not to sit in first class but instead found their seats side by side in the crowded economy cabin. Their companions occupied the seats around them.

Sitting directly in front of them was Roma, dressed as always in her iconic Mediterranean-style white gown. She held a golden notebook she had conjured and spent the journey jotting notes as they traveled.

It had been a millennium since she and Merlin descended to the Prime Universe's Earth to assist England's legendary King Arthur. Since then, she had resided exclusively in the Omnipresent Realm's Starlight Castle, never visiting any Earth in any dimensional universe.

The rapidly evolving sights around her now felt remarkably fresh and invigorating.

Previously, as Zane deepened his understanding of the multiverse, he had once asked Roma whether, like Earth existing in every universe, she also had parallel counterparts in other universes.

After all, not everyone could achieve the unique existence of Zane as the singular being in an Omniversal framework.

Roma had explained that the concept of parallel universes did not mean every dimensional universe would have an identical reflection of entities from the Prime Universe.

She compared it to a millennial tree's branches: some were fresh shoots that sprouted this year, while others were ancient, sturdy limbs that had grown for a thousand years. The fruits they bore differed in flavor depending on their age and circumstances.

However, she added that it was overwhelmingly likely for almost every dimensional universe to have a small solar system planet called Earth.

Similarly, Roma herself would likely have several parallel counterparts that were near-identical to her.

It was precisely this characteristic that led her father, Merlin, to bring her to the Prime Universe's Earth.
