EVERYONE SHOULD have known the story of Snow White. The runaway princess that lived with the seven dwarfs in the forest, envied and poisoned by the evil queen—her stepmother, died but was saved by her prince. And they lived happily ever after.
But that's just the shooorteeest summary of the story—the only details that everyone remembers. But as we grow, of course, our minds become playful, imaginative, and curious; and that was when I asked myself questions like, "What happened to the Huntsman?", "Did he manage to escape before the Evil Queen found out that he lied and Snow White was still alive, or was he caught and punished?"
There is only one way to find out what really happened to him that day—to re-read the story and let the side character be the protagonist of the popular fairy tale this time.
"…the Huntsman walks through the palace carrying his knife full of blood and a majestic box that the Evil Queen was eyeing the moment he was within her gaze." My senses came back as I heard the Fairy Godmother mentioning what was on my mind just now, as if she had heard my inner voice whispering the Huntsman's existence.
I must listen to her, as we're just about to enter the dark side of the fairy tales you have ever liked when you were young and naïve.
"The Huntsman's Escape..."
