Returning to the forest was becoming harder to resist for Emma. Each visit left her feeling more enchanted, yet also uneasy. Her people distrusted anything beyond their small world's bounds. But in the magic glade, all seemed possible.
On her next sojourn, Emma found Aisling perched gracefully on a low branch, glowing moss cascade down her slender form. "You return sooner than I expected, child of Man. Does the forest still hold such mysteries for you?" Her musical voice soothed Emma's worries, as always.
Emma nodded. "Each time I come, I feel a deeper longing to understand this place. Please, show me more of your hidden realm - I long to see true wonders, not just fleeting glimpses." Aisling tilted her head, regarding Emma with thoughtful eyes. "The deeper magic is not meant for outsider eyes. Mortal minds can scarcely comprehend our world's beauty and power. Are you sure you wish to see?"
Emma steeled her resolve. "I am no longer fearful. Please, I beg of you - let me see the heart of this forest's secrets, if only for a moment." Aisling paused, then smiled gently and extended a slender hand. "Come, and see what none of your kind has seen in aeons."
As Emma took Aisling's hand, the world seemed to melt away into colors she had no name for. When her vision cleared, she found herself in a realm beyond imagination. Trees of silver and gold filled a dappled glade alive with magic in every leaf and petal. Faerie folk danced among ghostly wisps, woven into the very aura of this mystifying place.
Awe and sorrow filled Emma's mortal heart all at once. She had glimpsed what no human was meant to see. But oh, how she longed to linger in this otherworldly paradise forever more.
