Chapter 27 - Shion's Cooking Disaster

Benimaru POVAll is peaceful in Tempest, at least that was what I thought..We're all in hiding right now, a vicious beast has attacked us.Shion's Cooking, the incarnation of evil itself, has come to haunt us...Shuna immediately said she had to work on clothes for Lord Rimuru, Master Hakurou said he had business to take care of with his students.Souei disappeared the second he heard the word "Cooking", leaving no trace whatsoever.My father is on the run with me right now, Shion is searching for both of us, there's others caught up as well, Gobta, who had developed Poison Resistance the first time he ate her cooking, had been taken victim and we haven't heard from him yet.Gabiru, the idiot he is, thought nothing could be wrong, we had tried to give him signals but he didn't get any of them, and we haven't heard of him as well.Gobichi and Yoshida fled Tempest itself, they had tried to taste it last time only to almost die from only getting near the food.Me and father have escaped into an alley, me and Souei have set up a communication network so she doesn't find us."Benimaru? Where are you guys? By the time she finished shouting for my name me and father had already fled the scene and entered the Labyrinth.We entered the private training room in panic, and we saw Zegion and Iudex staring at us, they had been fiercely training."What are you guys doing? You came for training? I thought you all wanted to leave badly?""Shion... she's coming for us.. with her co-" As soon as Iudex heard the first two letters of co he kicked us both out."And don't come back until you solve it!""Benimaru, we are doomed, we should just surrender ourselves.""No, father, we mustn't give up."We felt Shion's massive aura come near us, we were doomed."I pray whatever god lies beyond has mercy on our souls, son.""I pray for the same, father."We heard a voice ushering us to come."Guys! Over here!"We heard Lord Rimuru's divine voice come to our aid.We ran to him like we haven't seen him for hundreds of years, he led us to a room and told us to stay there."Stay here, don't make a single noise!""Yes! Father whispered as we both laid back on the couches the room had.We stayed there for hours, not daring to come out."Where is Lord Rimuru..?""I do not know, but wherever he is I am thankful."A few minutes later we saw Demon Lord Ramiris enter the room and stare at us confusedly."What the hell are you two doin' here?Rimuru has been searching for you two for hours!""Huh?! He put us here and told to wait until he deals with Shion, wait, he forgot about us?!?""You poor guys, come, Shion has already been subdued.""How?""Rimuru took her to Iudex's private training room and that resulted in her getting kicked by both Zegion and Iudex at the same time, sending her back to the surface.""Bless both of their souls, I will be praying for them for the rest of my life.""Agreed, father."We left the room with joy and hope for the future in our eyes, as we live to see another day.Shion was incredibly saddened and vowed to become the best chef there ever was..Does that lady not know any realism?Apparently Gobta and Gabiru were somehow fine, they were trying to tell us something about the food was actually good, but it seems that the food poisoning has gotten to their brains as well.. who knew such vile monster also possessed mind manipulation?
