John shoved her down onto the bed, and she gasped as she hit the mattress. Fury and disgust welled within her, igniting a fire in her chest. She would do anything to protect her daughter, but she would never allow this man to violate her. Her fingers curled into fists.
Esme knew that Silas would be entering the house through the backdoor any moment now. Until then, she needed to keep John occupied.
