On the other end of the line, John's lips curled into a sinister smile. Yet, a flicker of unease lingered in the depths of his eyes. "Did anybody see you doing that?"

"No, sir…No one suspected me," the man replied confidently, but he didn't tell him about his accidental encounter with Caleb. He believed Caleb had not seen his face or suspected him.

"Good…" It was only at this moment, John was relieved – certain that all the potential threats had been eliminated.

Now, with the weight of uncertainty lifted, John's focus sharpened on his next move. His mind was already working on the next phase, plotting how to bring down Silas.

Caleb hurried back into the hospital, his footsteps echoing in the corridors as he approached the ward. Inside, the scene was one of chaos—nurses and doctors were rushing in and out, their faces etched with urgency.
