Silas gently extricated himself from Samira's embrace, his demeanor shifting from casual to solemn in an instant. The smile that had adorned his lips waned, replaced by a serious expression as he addressed Samira.
"Those flowers are to show my gratitude toward you, Samira, nothing else," he stated firmly. "You did a great job in clearing the company's name."
The change in Silas's demeanor disappointed Samira, her smile faltering. She, however, regained her composure and stretched her lips into a grin. "It was my duty," she replied graciously. She handed him a folder. "Here's everything you need to know for the interview. Check them. Make sure you stick to the script. Don't say anything out of the content."
