For both, energy and 'time' were vital to Zafkiel. Kurumi, knowing this, saved as much Time as possible and used her spiritual power for her astral suit and shadow manipulation.
Yuki, on the other hand, used all his spiritual power on the spiritual armor, while using chakra in the manipulation of shadows, Zafkiel, and ninjutsus.
Their life energy was always beyond limits, reserved for emergencies.
"Yuki-san, if I'm not mistaken, when using Zafkiel, you manipulate Time within the 'space.'"
Zafkiel, being a powerful angel, causes the bullets to vary in power, as 'time' is used to activate them.
For example, Yuki used bullets to manipulate time within the target's space, while Kurumi manipulated the target's time. This is why, in the Guilty Crown world, when Yuki was infected, he couldn't return to a 'Yuki' from the Ninja world, as the manipulated time spaces were different.
"I see... That explains why I haven't been able to activate the twelfth bullet."
With a hand on his chin, Yuki pondered deeply. Trying to use the twelfth bullet to travel four years into the past when his mother was still alive proved challenging. The 'time' required was exorbitant, leaving him vulnerable. Yet, he realized he had been doing it wrong; success would send the space around him to the past, causing a space-time anomaly and, perhaps, a rift.
"That's strange, Yuki-san. I'd like to learn space and time manipulation if you don't mind."
"I'd be honored. I'd also like to learn about those rewind-effect bullets."
"No problem."
Smiling at each other, they anticipated the future. Being alike, their soulmate could do what they eagerly awaited.

Labyrinth City Orario, Dungeon Floor 59
"This isn't right."
Frowning, Yuki looked around; this floor was entirely different from Rasiel's description.
"What's not right? Yuki, is something wrong?"
Looking at him with concern, Inori tightened her sword. Each floor posed a challenge, and their structures varied significantly.
"This floor should be a glacier, not a jungle."
Yuki hoped to face the monsters on this floor, decimating them with his jutsus, given the advantage of the low temperature. However...
"Did Rasiel make a mistake?"
Tilting her head, Kurumi asked. For her, Rasiel was a powerful angel capable of gathering information. Still, like the fifth Bullet, things weren't always that easy.
"No, Rasiel doesn't make mistakes... Something must have happened, something changed the area."
Yuki was correct; Rasiel was an advanced search engine with all the world's knowledge from past to present. However, this was limited to the knowledge the 'world' possessed. For instance, Rasiel had information about Floor 59 because the Zeus Family reported it to the guild, making that information automatically recorded by the world. Yet, no adventurer had descended below Floor 59, so Rasiel lacked information about it.
After all, the dungeon wasn't in the world but in some kind of independent space. This was also why there was oxygen on the deep floors—only 10 floors were truly in the world, while the rest were not.
This limitation meant Rasiel was restricted in information about the Dungeon; the world itself didn't yet know what kind of enemy it was dealing with. The Dungeon was an anomaly outside the world's rules.
[What do we do, Adam?]
"Of course, keep going down."
Responding to Mana's question, Yuki swung his sword. Despite not knowing what happened, their objectives remained unchanged.
*GYAAAAAAA
But as they spoke, a piercing scream interrupted them, and the Dungeon began to shake.
"Well, the Dungeon won't let us take a break, huh?"
"Of course not. To it, we're invaders that must be eliminated."
Sighing, Yuki prepared himself. If his instincts were right, this floor wouldn't be as simple as he imagined.
"GAAAA DELICIOUS FOOD! I WILL DEVOUR YOU!"
As if responding to his instincts, a colossal plant-type monster, roughly 20 meters tall, emerged from the ground.
Its upper part resembled a flower, but when it opened its petals, a beautiful semi-nude woman was revealed, displaying her long, porcelain-like legs and incredible breasts, with small roots and leaves barely covering vital areas.
"FOOD, DELICIOUS FOOD... I WILL DEVOUR YOU!"
Opening her hands, the beautiful woman extended wings like a butterfly's, and her green hair, adorned with small flowers, activated Yuki's radar. Unfortunately, her words, like the massive plant body, disappointed him.
Although Yuki could see that this woman had a human body, she ultimately had a pair of roots connected to her hair.
"This woman...."
Frowning, Kurumi smelled something unpleasant.
And she wasn't alone; even Inori covered her nose. The smell emitted by this gigantic woman was very unpleasant.
[Master]
"I know."
Unlike Inori and Kurumi, Yuki didn't find it unpleasant, but this didn't bother him. There was something about that gigantic woman—something that Est, Yuki, and Kurumi felt.
"That woman is a spirit."
[A corrupted spirit, Master.]
Yes, this monster was emitting spiritual pulses, just like Kurumi, Yuki, and Est.
Something that shouldn't be possible for a Dungeon monster.
"Yuki-san, I'd like to have her magic stone... I'm sure with it, my Time will increase significantly."
Licking her lips, Kurumi was already eyeing this monster like a delicious dessert. Being a spirit, the benefits her spiritual power would bring were substantial.
"You can have it, but first, we must bring her down."
Swinging his sword, Yuki could see that this wouldn't be easy, not with the amount of spiritual power she was releasing.
*GYAAAAAAAAAAAA
And as if responding to his stance, the woman opened her mouth, sending a powerful sound wave, darkening the ceiling. Simultaneously, several caterpillar-type monsters began emerging from the ground.
