Chapter 81 - Chapter 79 : Promise kept

"Ah~!"

Reaching climax, Tsugumi's legs gave way, and she fell onto the bed, on all fours, as Yuki struck her from behind, and she reveled in her impending climax.

Yuki, on the other hand, remained unsatisfied. Despite releasing his seeds inside Tsugumi, his libido was too high for the people of this world.

As Argos had suspected, Tsugumi lacked the stamina to keep up with Yuki.

With a disappointed look on his face, Yuki lay beside Tsugumi, who, after a few minutes, tightly embraced Yuki, panting with her entire body covered in sweat.

She felt a liquid dripping between her legs, but that didn't stop her from hugging Yuki. She was thoroughly satisfied and exhausted.

"Is it okay?"

"Hm?" Confused, Tsugumi lifted her gaze.

"Is it okay that I didn't use condoms?"

This was one of the things Yuki had been unsure about. Since Ayase started walking again, Tsugumi had been sending signals all day that she desired sex. Therefore, with a bit of deception, Yuki managed to free himself from Inori.

Yuki had to admit that Tsugumi attacked him with quite some passion, taking the initiative throughout the process. It was a shame her stamina couldn't match Yuki's, so, in the end, she was overpowered and left without strength.

But there was more to it. Due to Tsugumi's sudden attack, Yuki forgot to use condoms. After all, though he wished to expand the Uchiha clan, he wasn't ready to be a father yet. Yuki had all the time in the world for that.

"Don't worry, dear... I've been taking pills."

Raising his eyebrows, Yuki was somewhat concerned.

"Really? Isn't that risky?"

"Don't worry; it's 100% safe."

As if understanding his concerns, Tsugumi only smiled at his question. Tsugumi wasn't lying; since their first night, she had been taking precautions. Like Yuki, she wasn't ready to be a mother yet. Fortunately, medicine had made great progress in that area, creating contraceptive pills with a 100% chance of preventing pregnancy.

It was one of the advantages of living in a world with advanced technology.

So, with a sigh, Yuki looked at Tsugumi, who had closed her eyes; she was too tired. Yuki, on the other hand, smiled bitterly. He wanted another round, but apparently, that wasn't possible.

Therefore, Yuki also closed his eyes, pondering when would be the perfect time to bring Inori to his bed. However, he shook his head; Inori was, after all, someone whose DNA was destined to merge with his.

With that in mind, Yuki decided to sleep and stop worrying about troublesome things. His night with Inori would come, so there was no need to worry.

The next day, Yuki got up abruptly, leaving the tired Tsugumi to continue sleeping.

As was Yuki's routine, he decided to do a little morning training. The eight inner gates weren't easy, even for him. The eight inner gates were a considerable strain on his body.

So, heading to train, Yuki encountered someone.

"Good... morning."

"Good morning."

With a trembling voice, Ayase was somewhat surprised to see Yuki. She touched her hair several times, nervously.

Yuki, however, just smiled.

"I see you're better."

"Yes... Thank you for your help."

Ayase had left the wheelchairs behind; she now had a cane, walking slowly while leaning on the wall.

"It's nothing. I'm glad you're well... Well, goodbye. Try not to rush; I promise you'll be able to run again soon, just like you used to."

Nodding, Yuki walked away, shaking his hand, while giving advice to Ayase, as he could see she was very excited about being able to walk again.

"I will!"

Looking at her small figure, Ayase didn't know what to think. She was in total internal chaos, but there was something more in her.

However, she remembered the day when Yuki had promised to cure her.

"D-Do you want to walk again, Ayase?"

*Clink pink

With the spoon on the floor, Ayase looked in complete shock at Yuki.

"What? Is this a joke? Because if it is, it's not funny, Yuki."

Frowning, Ayase looked at Yuki, who was preparing breakfast without looking at her once.

"I'm not joking, although it may not seem like it, I'm a doctor, so I'm aware of your problem."

"A doctor? Seriously?"

Looking at him suspiciously, Ayase didn't believe him. Yuki was too young to be a doctor. She didn't doubt his strength and power, but being a doctor required knowledge and talent, not strength and power.

"You may not believe me, but trust me when I say I can cure your illness."

With a small turn of his body, Yuki looked at Ayase seriously. After all, he wasn't lying.

"Are you making fun of me? Or do you pity me? Do you think someone like me needs your help?"

Looking at him with fierce eyes, Ayase was angry. Yuki's serious look was something she couldn't bear.

She knew well about her problem; it was something that current medical technology couldn't cure. That's why she thought Yuki was sympathizing with her situation. Even if Yuki is a doctor, she thought that in Yuki's eyes, she was a pitiable girl whose existence deserved his help.

This was something she couldn't stand.

She worked so hard to be independent and not depend on anyone.

Proving that even without being able to walk, she was just as useful as anyone in this base.

And she succeeded; she was a comrade who earned the respect of everyone in Undertaker.

Therefore, she didn't like Yuki's look and compassion. However...

"Compassion? Do you think I'm someone who would pity a strong woman like you?"

With a furrowed brow, Yuki looked closely at Ayase.

"Don't make me laugh!... I, Yuki Uchiha, would never have compassion for a strong woman. The only thing I feel for you is respect."

Ayase's eyes widened at Yuki's response; she never expected this answer.

"T-then... why?"

Still not giving up, Ayase sought an answer, but Yuki just smiled.

"Does there need to be a reason to help a fellow soldier?"

Ignoring Ayase's reaction, Yuki placed several plates on a tray before leaving. However, he took only a few steps, stopping for a moment.

"So don't worry; I promise you'll walk again."

Leaving these words, Yuki left the kitchen. He still had a lady who needed his attention, so with great expectations, he headed to his room.

Ayase, however, was speechless.

(Thank you... You kept your promise)

Closing her eyes slightly, she thanked him once again.

She smiled very sweetly before continuing to walk very slowly.

This was the beginning of her rehabilitation, so she had been very excited, and hopefully, being able to run would no longer be a dream for Ayase.

The next day, Ayase embarked on her rehabilitation journey. Yuki's promise echoed in her mind, fuelling her determination. Step by step, she pushed herself, clinging to the hope that Yuki's words would ring true.
