Chapter 530 - Chapter 524 : Gabriel (2)

GYAAAAAAAAA

A sharp sound escaped from Gabriel's mouth, resembling gibberish that humans and lesser beings couldn't understand.

A wave of energy enveloped the entire area, and white wings began to form on Gabriel's back. He was losing his last trace of connection to the heavens and was being banished.

*BOOM*

A terrifying explosion echoed, and the entire world was covered in magical symbols. The sky darkened as Gabriel regained his true power.

"No... No..."

Kanzaki trembled, his clothes tattered and bleeding. Tsuchimikado was in worse shape, and Touma was barely holding on.

Previously, they could barely defend against Gabriel, but now that his true power was awakening in this mortal world, it was so overwhelming that even breathing was difficult. They couldn't even look at him directly without sustaining injuries. Even the space around them was warping due to the intense power. His existence shouldn't appear in this mortal world.

*GYAAAAA*

Gabriel seemed to be suffering. He didn't want to fall; he wanted to return to the arms of 'God.' Unfortunately, he couldn't. His connection was growing weaker, and now even his wings had been sent away.

His power increased every second, and this plane of existence could barely contain him. It was breaking apart.

*BOOM*

Another explosion of energy was heard. Gabriel's power had reached a stellar scale, comparable to the sun itself. Yet, this was not the end; it continued to grow, and his once snowy white wings were darkening.

*GYAAAAAAAAA*

His gibberish was unbearable for humans. Those who heard it collapsed to the ground, unconscious, with blood pouring from their ears.

"This is bad. He's trying to return to heaven at any cost..."

Tsuchimikado gritted his teeth, barely able to stay conscious. The sound was unbearable, but he could still see through Gabriel's intentions.

This mortal world was the reason for his fall. Since he couldn't destroy the ritual, to return to heaven, he had to do something simple:

Destroy all of humanity and the entire world.

Gabriel's power surged again, and the space around him shattered.

"It's useless. We can't fight something of this caliber... Where is the Joker?!"

Even with Sky Halo, Kanzaki could no longer withstand Gabriel's pressure.

"Are you asking me?!"

Tsuchimikado was already on the ground, gasping for air. He wanted to curse someone. After all, if they had destroyed the ritual, none of this would have happened. But now, with the Joker not appearing, even crying was futile. Only Touma was in a better position due to Imagine Breaker, but his body was still wounded by Gabriel, making it painful.

*Tap... Tap... Tap...*

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps was heard, which was impossible due to Gabriel's gibberish. Yet, Kanzaki and the group heard it, as if these steps brought calm to the storm.

"!!"

The trio turned their heads and were speechless. There stood Yuki, wearing his astral suit, walking calmly as if what was happening had nothing to do with him. His spiritual power was chaotic yet powerful, like a force field enveloping him. At the same time, his Sephira Crystal was changing to that of Qlipha.

Tsuchimikado and Touma wanted to curse, but held back, sensing something was wrong.

Yuki's expression was vacant, his eyes like those of a dead fish. He held a pistol in his hand, and a shining crown was forming on his head.

"Well done, leave the rest to me..."

Murmuring softly, Yuki looked up at Gabriel in the sky, and the spark gun was raised to his head.

The trio was confused by this suicidal action, and suddenly...

*Bang*

!!

*BOOM*

The gun fired, and before the trio had any chance to react to this apparent suicide, a pillar of light descended from the sky, enveloping Yuki.

The shockwave shattered the ground, broke the house's windows, and cracked the walls. The Earth's atmosphere began to change.

From the darkened sky, a small tornado formed, and clouds covered the heavens.

*Crash

Thick lightning bolts formed and struck the pillar of light.

After a few seconds, the pillar of light disappeared, the storm clouds and tornado vanished, but a gigantic spiritual energy enveloped the entire area, oppressing it with its aura.

Gabriel had to stop, and the trio took refuge from the destruction. All that remained was an existence of white. Its aura was neither sacred nor divine, yet it seemed purer and holier than Gabriel's. But this was to be expected; Order is the principle of the entire Multiverse and the root of existence itself.

"Joker... what are you?"

Kanzaki gripped Sky Halo tightly. If the Joker had made her vigilant before, now she felt immense pressure. He was simply on a different level, as if they were two completely different existences. The Demon King is someone whose power surpasses the gods, the highest existence in the food chain.

...

The Demon King slowly opened his eyes, and the crown on his head began to rotate.

His innocent eyes scanned the area before detecting the most dangerous energy—that of Gabriel.

!!

Gabriel trembled slightly under those heterochromatic eyes, the aura of suppression and authority was terrifying.

...

The Demon King remained silent, but his eyes narrowed slightly. The mortal world was collapsing due to Gabriel's enormous energy. A being of stellar level is, after all, someone whose power rivals that of a star. A sub-mortal world like the one they were in now didn't have the strength to withstand such a powerful Archangel.

This displeased the Demon King. Although this mortal world was not the original world of Toaru, it was still a sub-world. No one had the right to harm the world. Any existence that dared to do so must be destroyed before being consumed by chaos.

"Destroy... Kill him..."

Raising his hand slowly, he reached for a small, colorless light. This light was Gabriel's Fate.

In the infinite darkness, the Demon King's hand was enormous as it tried to crush this small light, which seemed so fragile, like a small flame about to be extinguished by strong winds.

[Wait... I want him alive...]

However, before he could do so, a familiar and deep voice echoed in the depths of his soul.

His hand stopped, saving the small fate.

[We must devour him...]

The black part of his soul (Yuki) whispered again, as if guiding him.

"Yes... Devour him..."

The Demon King nodded. He couldn't and didn't want to disobey this voice. This voice had promised him before that it would bring him back to where he belonged, and the Demon King trusted this voice.

The Demon King was so innocent that he didn't care that this voice had deceived him before and obeyed it again.

However, if he couldn't destroy Gabriel's fate and soul, he had to fight, and this battle would surely destroy the mortal world.

Yuki was worried, and just as he was about to give his next order, the crown on the Demon King's head expanded, and an enormous astronomical clock the size of a planet formed outside the world.

[Lucifugus!]

"Activate Incomplete-Domain... Higher Dimension..."

*Fummm

The mortal world was covered by an enormous shining crown. Large peaks stabilized the Mortal World, and the space being torn apart by Gabriel's power stabilized. Not only that, it was healing all the damage caused and at the same time trapping everyone in this Incomplete-Domain.

This time, several characters around the world could no longer sit idly by. The danger of that crown was no joke.

In the Vatican, a young man with a large hand resembling a claw looked at the night sky with interest, also with some fear and hope. His many beliefs began to waver because of this bright and pure crown. After all, this was the savior of the world.

"Is someone else doing what I couldn't do? No, it's still too soon. Even if you take all the pain and sins of the world now, they are still not saved. The same mistake as Jesus Christ will be repeated... I still have work to do..."
