Kaida led us to a separate room, away from the rest of the crowd. As we traveled a series of hallways, the bickering and fighting could still be heard through the walls. After a few minutes, it abruptly stopped. I assumed another leader of the Underworld showed up, and for some reason, that worried me. I now had to keep an eye out for the other leaders. Every time we turned the corner, I placed an Orb of Movement.
"This is where we'll talk," Kaida said as a guard opened the door to a small room. "Come on."
Aurora and I followed her inside. Two guards followed us, but the rest stayed outside. There were two sofas and a low table inside the room. The room had a few cabinets and a sink, but it was clear what Kaida was implying by choosing this room.
'There's nowhere to run.'
