All good things must come to an end I supposed. I had no choice but to return to the academy for class. However, my mind was too preoccupied with the idea of cultivation and preparing for a short war to pay attention in my classes. It must have been clear that I was out of it since Griffin was even closer to me than usual.
"I'm not in the mood right now," I pushed him away.
"You're even weirder today than normal," He mumbled.
"Says the guy that's always breathing down my neck!" I was annoyed.
Ahem!
The professor cleared his throat as he looked at us. I sighed. Griffin finally backed off, but he was still staring at me. He nodded his head before turning away. Something told me that I should be worried. However, I was relieved and turned my attention back to the professor.
