The boss always had an over-the-top plan. He wants us all to train like we can just level up in a week! I knew what he meant, but I didn't want to train! I just got a new body, and he expects me to work so soon. Bump that!
Well actually… Maybe I will work. Just a little.
When I was inhabiting the Boss's body, I had access to all of his memories. It was weird that our lives were just a game for him, but someone caught my eye.
Beau La Sol.
She had a background that was really similar to mine. She was neglected because her parents wanted a son, not a daughter. As a result, they tried until they had a son. It took them five children, but Beau and her sisters were basically treated like mistakes.
I had no intentions of forming a trauma bond, but I noticed how strong her character was. She refused to ever bow her head to anyone.
"You are a creep! Just leave me alone," Beau groaned in annoyance.
