Let's go back to the beginning of Smarus's match with Ace from Lily's POV...
I was super excited to see Smarus's final fight! He won every single one in a cool and exciting way. He even beat Arlo and Donkor, who I guessed were just as strong as him… Not that I would know. That Ace guy looked evil, so I wasn't sure why people called him a hero.
"Hey, Myra, we should celebrate when Smarus wins this battle!" I smiled.
"That's a good idea, Lily! We should have baked goods and snacks and cakes… Does Smarus even like those things?" She tilted her head.
"I dunno… I know! If he doesn't eat it, I'll just eat his portion too!" I nodded proudly.
I looked over to talk to Aurora, but she looked anxious. Actually, everyone was sitting on the edge. Even Arlo was quiet. They must have been just as excited as I was during this battle. I smiled as Smarus walked onto the stage. He looked as cool as usual!
