My clan spent an entire day planning how to have Lilith succeed the throne. Originally, I wanted Anne to spy on the Tempus family, but that fell through. She was now going to join this mission with Lilith and I. After our planning, I spent an entire day cultivating. It had been a while since I was able to train, and I felt like I was getting lazy.
Once it was the first day of the week break, Lilith decided to make her move. Naturally, I would go with her since I was her consort, and I had Astrid make her a ring. Lilith's ring darkened to a metallic black with fiery designs engraved on it. There were also words engraved on the inside of the ring, but it was in a language that only Lilith knew.
"Why did we take a carriage when I could just teleport us there?" I sighed.
"That's because it would cause a national uproar if my father found out that you can just move anywhere in the kingdom at will. For now, we will do things my way," She explained.
