Right after Smarus left for the library, Aurora and everyone else stayed at the apartment complex. Anne had to catch up on the work she missed from being gone for a day, while Lily and Lilith were still fazed from Smarus's cold rejection. However, Aurora began to plan Smarus's future, once again, and she began to act once she knew that Vida and Gricelda were safe.

"Lady Lily, why have you secluded yourself?" I asked.
Lady Lily was in the master's bedroom, lying down. She turned to face me when I opened the door. She sat up and sighed.
"Aurora… Do you think that Smarus was being a bit cold? Even for him…" Lady Lily looked down.
