"My next enemy in the kingdom of Nachodia," I informed her.
Madam Minerva looked at me in surprise. Her mouth was wide open, and her hands only trembled even more. She put her cup down.
"A whole kingdom!?" She yelled.
This seemed to have snapped Vida and Gricelda out of their surprise. They quickly let each other go and bowed down, lowering their heads. They spoke through their tears.
"Smarus, please save Lord Arlo!" They begged.
I didn't respond. I only sipped my tea. Madam Minerva seemed a bit annoyed once she realized that I wasn't going to respond to their request.
"Smarus… no… Lord Smarus, we will do anything. We will even help you take over the kingdom!" Vida argued.
I smiled when she said this. I place my tea down before looking down at them. I was definitely going on an ego trip while seeing these two women bowing down to me. I wondered what I could say to make myself look cool in this situation…
