There was a tense and an air of anxiety in the air. That made sense since the complexity of this operation increased tenfold after Kaida and I did recon. Everyone was surrounding the table in the middle of the room as I showed them the updated map of the Stroheim estate. Kaida was able to gather intel on the adventurers that were hired. I sighed.
"Change of plans. We can't afford to hold back any strength, so we will change our view of things. First off, Donkor, Griffin, and Amaia, you three will be joining the raid.
"Very well," Donkor nodded.
"I always had a bone to pick with Ron, so I have no complaints," Griffin smiled.
Amaia nervously nodded her head. She tensed up once I walked into the room, but Yang Li patted her head to soothe her. It seemed to have worked since she seemed a bit less stressed. It was like Yang Li adopted Amaia as her younger sister.
