It was finally the first day of school.

Honestly speaking,she hated getting up early in the morning and freshening herself just to go to this boring place called school.

"You don't look so good on your first day of school sweetie—are you not excited?" Paul slightly frowns,

nudging his daughter on the shoulders as he uses his one hand to grab a juice and hands it to her.

"I wish I was"

"Julia"

"Yes?"

"What do you call a tree that's always on vacation?"

"Huh"

" A palm tree!" he said, with a cheeky grin.

At first, Julia tried to suppress a smile, but then she let out a reluctant chuckle. "Dad, that's so bad," she said, shaking her head.

"I know, I know, but you can't deny that you're at least slightly amused," Paul replied, with a playful grin.

Julia rolled her eyes, but she couldn't help but continue to grin. "Alright, fine. It's a little funny," she admitted.

Paul smiled, happy that he was able to bring a smile to his daughter's face. "That's all I was hoping for," he said, with a wink.

Paul turned around to check on his sleeping son in the back. He reached over and lightly shook the boy's shoulder, trying to rouse him.

"Come on, champ, we're almost there," Paul said in a soft voice as he tried to get his son's attention.

As they pulled up to the school, Paul turned around once more, hoping that maybe the sight of the school would be enough to wake his son up. But as he looked back, he noticed that his son's headphones had fallen off and were now tangled around his neck.

His head was still leaning against the window, and his eyes remained stubbornly shut.

"Oh my gosh Ellie!"

"Where!?"

"That was fast…?" Paul crosses his arms,looking down at his son with a sigh.

"See I told you?" Julia chuckles,shrugging before taking her backpack as she opens the car door.

"Go follow your sister!" Paul flicks his son's forehead,throwing his backpack at him as he pushes him out of the car.

"Wait for me!" Lucas whines,running after his sister as Paul just laughs before getting back into the car.

Julia clears her throat,stopping in her mid way,waiting for her brother to catch up with her.

Lucas smirks,noticing the glances on his sister as he playfully nudged her knowing her popularity.

"Okay this is getting embarrassing. '' Julia let out a small sigh,face palming herself,trying to ignore all the stares and the whispers.

"Julia!"

Ellie runs towards her,engulfing her in a tight hug as she ruffles her hair,causing her to giggle.

"Guess who's in the same class this year too"

"No way—"

"Totally! We can cause so much chaos together," Ellie says, her eyes sparkling with excitement, "I've already got a few things in mind."

Julia chuckles. "You're gonna get me in trouble, you know that right?"

"That's the whole point, silly," Ellie says with a devilish grin.

"Hi Lucas" Ellie raises an eyebrow at the boy who was choking on air as soon as she arrives,making her slightly concerned.

"You okay bro?"

"Nah he—" Lucas's eyes widdens,immediately shutting his sister up,making her bite his hands that was used to cover her mouth.

"Bruh—"

"Good luck!I'll be going first!" Lucas awkwardly chuckles,waving at them then running away.

"That boy I swear"

Ellie and Julia walk up the stairs together, their backpacks slung over their shoulders, as they make their way to their new classroom.

The hallway is bustling with activity as students chat and laugh, and Ellie can't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation.

Julia, on the other hand, appears to be a little anxious, her eyes darting around the room as she looks for a familiar face.

Julia and Ellie settle into their seats, feeling a little nervous but also excited for the new school year.

Julia's eyes widened as she saw Ejekial in the classroom, and her heart began to race. She had tried her best to avoid him since their fling last semester, but here he was, staring directly at her.

She didn't know what to do or say, so she just stood there, frozen, unable to take her eyes off him.

Ejekial, on the other hand, had noticed Julia's reaction and couldn't help but give a small smile.

"Oo what was that" Ellie wiggles her eyebrows playfully earning a groan from the girl.

"We're just friends"

"Okay girlie whatever you say"

"Uhm hey" Julia turns around,facing a girl with a boyish haircut and a pretty smile.She knows her,they used to be classmates before.

"You're the only person I know in this class" Evelyn awkwardly scratches her nape "Can I sit beside you guys?".

"Oh yes of course !" Julia smiles brightly,giving her a nod as she gives her a seat in one of the chairs.

"Hey there is one more seat left here" Ellie calls out to one girl who was lost,looking for seats.

"Thank you" the girl sighs in relief,smiling at them before introducing herself.

"My name's Mollie, what's yours?"

"Julia"

"Ellie"

"Uh Evelyn"

"Pretty!" Mollie giggles,taking her books out as she glances at the front.

"Oh the teacher's here"

"Good morning class!You can call me Ms.Phoebe and I'm going to be your headroom teacher for this year"

"I heard the teacher's pretty strict" Evelyn whispers to Julia,making her mouth form in a o shape.

"Wait really?"

"Well let's see if she can handle us" Ellie joins the whispering,smirking as Julia just shakes her head,being so done with her best friend.

"Hmm is it just me or who also noticed the hard staring on our pretty seatmate here" Mollie teases,glancing to the other side.

"Admirers on your first day?" Mollie playfully wiggles her eyebrows.

"Uh—" Julia glances to the side,making eye contact with this one boy who apparently have one of palest skin ever as he stared dreamily at her.

"Don't stare at him back guys" Julia whines,hiding her face in her palms.

"Okay roll call!l

"Present" Ellie chuckles,raising her hands up as everyone glances at her.

"Ejekial Jones!"

"Present" Ejekial glances over at Julia,hoping she would return the eye contact back and she did.

"Oh my gosh he's so handsome!" the girls started gushing over him as he cutely smiled in response.

Ejekial'a like a delicate flower, his skin almost too fair to be real. His smile was like a ray of sunshine, lighting up his face and making his eyes sparkle.

Despite his height, he had an almost ethereal quality to him that made him seem almost too fragile to be real.

"Alex Turner!"

Julia head perks up at the name,she have heard of him multiple times since she first transferred to here but never seen him before.

"Present ma'am"

Alex raises his hand up,gaining everyone's attention.He was a whole art,his appearance was striking and he had an undeniable presence but despite his cold look,he had such beautiful eyes that radiant warmth.

"We have the most handsome two boys and a pretty girl in our class!We won for this year"

Julia heard one of the girls muttering right in front of her,as she glanced over at Alex Turner.

"Don't tell me you also fell for that dude" Evelyn scoffs,shaking her head.

"Nah" Julia chuckles "Why?You sound like you dislike him or something?".

"I don't dislike him—the way he acts just gets on my nerves sometimes" Evelyn rolls her eyes "He thinks he's all that".

"Oh well—" Julia turns around,her gaze locking with Alex Turner as she gulps.

"He seems like a nice guy"

"And that's the problem" Evelyn pointed out "He's too nice that it got girls to misunderstand his intentions and it ended up as him leading them on".

"That's not his fault tho" Julia frowns,turning back to the front,spinning her pen around.

"Nah he enjoys the attention and keep going until the girls deeply fall for him then dumped them when he gets bored"

"Oh okay maybe he's the problem"

"Okay but can that dude stop staring at my wife because it's getting on my nerves" Ellie crossed her arms,side eyeing the boy who had been staring at Julia nonstop.

"Let the boy appreciate her beauty" Mollie nudges Ellie,making Ellie frown in return.

"Uh ah she's mine and mine only"

"Ellie, are you lesbian?" Mollie questioned,her jaw dropping.

"Guess" Ellie smirks,winking at the girl who questioned her,making Julia roll her eyes.

"Ellie Woods please not again" Julia rubs her temples in stress "No you're not getting me into another lesbian rumor with you this year".

"Shit don't tell me y'all were that rumored lesbian couple from Class B last year" Evelyn gasps,covering her mouth with wide eyes.
