Nathanael's pov:
Right by my side, Rosemary's hand, not so tightly, grips the bench's edge. All of the sudden, I have this immense need to hold it. Looking from her eyes down to her lips, another need knocks at my doors, that of taking her face in my hands and simply kissing her.
This shouldn't be possible, not since the spell I'd asked Avery to perform. Although perhaps the spell only served to tone down my bond with her and not any genuine, lingering feeling. Does this mean I simply like her? Or does it mean I am in love with her?
I never truly had to ask myself such questions.
"When are you planning on paying the museum another visit?" I ask in order to distract myself from these thoughts.
