"Exhausted" does not suffice to describe the state I am currently in. I might as well be sleepwalking already, and I don't even realize it.
Although I am on the verge of collapsing physically, mentally however, a different story can be told. I sure am tired, but I feel at ease, a tad bit relieved. Of what? I don't have the slightest clue.
I know I don't feel as heavy on my feet as I did when I was heading towards the museum. I can tell through the burning sensation brewing in my core the closer I draw towards the mansion.
I push my weight up, defying gravity one last time before reaching my destination. I land with a clack as my heels hit the marble flooring of my room.
