Nathanael's POV:
The immaculate white coat covering every open surface in Grimesbrook remains quite thin. It has probably only snowed very early this morning, somewhen before the sun came up and cracked the thick curtains shrouding this side of the globe in darkness, when most common mortals are still asleep.
Nevertheless, I believe that switching to the winter tires was the right call. The sky dons its natural shade of blue for the moment being, but I see those murky clouds above us are traveling fast; soon they'll completely blot out the sunlight for more flakes to float down and thicken the starting layer.
"We've come very early. There's barely anybody here as I see. I hope it won't be much of a thorn," Accalia's voice draws nearer as she moves around the car to join me after leaving the passenger's seat.
