Rosemary's POV:
Wolves have about 200 million scent cells. This allows them to smell other animals more than one mile away…
"Rosie? Where did your mind travel to again?" Izzy's voice grounds me back into reality.
"What? What were you saying?" I ask, looking at her a little surprised.
At first, she squints her eyes at me skeptically, but then her features relax as she just sighs and hands me my phone back.
Its screen is still lit, open on the picture of the article I took the other day at the archives' station.
"I was saying," she starts her sentence after inhaling deeply, putting emphasis on those words, before reverting to a calmer, more casual tone when she continues, "That everything I learned about myself from the caregivers at the orphanage, I told you a short while after we met. But I never knew anything about this article," she shakes her head subtly from left to right.
