Nathanael's POV:
The clouds that came to cloak the sun since this morning seem quite thick and murky, dimming the vibrance of all colors the human eyes can see. The office around me appears even more lifeless than last time I'd visited it.
That is not all, I feel as though I am sitting on nails. No matter which position I shift into, I can't find any sense of comfort.
I pay close attention to Avery's heart rate as he stands silent behind my chair. Any change in it would speak louder than any voice and say a lot more than any words ever could. At the moment, he does not appear particularly more worried than he was before we entered the hospital. So, we might be in the clear for now.
