Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Legacy of Captain Trust-No-One

First of all, you should not trust anyone, literally no one. By trusting anyone, it will just hurt you, okay? You might not believe me, so let me tell you a story. There was a little boy with a pure heart sitting in his room. Someone called through the window; it was his big brother calling him to play. The big bro suggested he jump through the window, and assured the little boy that he would catch him.

At first, the little boy hesitated because he was on the first floor, and his brother was down below. Big bro says, 'don't you trust me?' The little boy responds with, 'I trust you, bro,' wearing a happy face. The little boy jumps, but his brother doesn't catch him. Instead, he says, 'Little bro first rule of life, don't never trust anyone, not even yourself.' Big bro adds, 'I trusted my lover, and she dumped me yesterday. I don't want you to suffer by trusting anyone.'So, there I was, the little boy with a heart purer than a unicorn in a bubble bath. My big brother, let's call him Captain Trust-No-One, had just dropped a truth bomb that hit me harder than a mosquito on a windshield.

After the window-jumping incident, I decided to take his advice seriously. I started treating handshakes like complex business negotiations, complete with a pre-contract and a post-performance review. My trust issues became so legendary that the local fortune teller started using my palm . "Will I trust someone today?" I asked the mystical hand-reader. The answer: "Outlook not so good."

it really does not any matter to you but it matters to me .Let's get to main topic....

So my name is Ralph Stafford, the youngest son of Baron Rayan Stafford. Our family is facing many problems. We can't pay taxes to the empire and are carrying a significant debt from loan sharks. My father is trying his best to save our baron territory. My brother's name is Guren Stafford. Now my brother Mr. Captain Trust-No-One works in the capital for Duke Corsus. My older sister, Lily, is the same age as Guren. Last year, she married the son of an earl. So, there was no one in our house except for servants, my father, and mother.

My mother, Lilyan Stafford, is the daughter of a count and ended up in a love marriage with my father. She has been sick for many years and is suffering from an incurable disease.

That was my family introduction. From the introduction of my family, you can infer that money is important to live, and girls should marry rich guys. It's a harsh truth. They say money can't buy happiness, but I say it can buy paradise. It gives you freedom. Money matters. I love money. I can't trust anyone, but I sure do trust money. If anyone here thinks I'm a materialistic person, yes, I am.I want to deal with my problems by becoming Rich.

In our empire, aristocrats get engaged at the age of 16 and attend the Royal Academy with their fiancés, but many still go there without getting engaged. Unlike others, there is not a single girl of my age that I like, but I sure do like older women. I haven't gotten engaged yet, but it is a tradition for nobles to attend the Royal Academy. To me, it feels like going to the Royal Academy to lick shoes of of nobles who are of higher rank. Although I'm not particularly interested in it. It is more frustrating to see lovebirds everywhere.

Bassicaly i'm a low rank noble but i have to attend royal academy.

lets see what happens...nexto
