Smiling warmly, Kakashi led Team 7 back to the village, taking them to the Mission Hall where they unexpectedly encountered Iruka and the Sandaime Hokage. Greetings were exchanged, and both Iruka and the Hokage beamed at the sight of the young ninja.
the old hokage,smoking his pipe,started "Kakashi,Team 7,welcome to your first mission "
Naruto, ever eager, approached the Hokage with enthusiasm, "Hey, old man! Give us a cool mission! I'll show you my amazing potential!"
Kakashi, sporting a slight sweat drop, couldn't help but chuckle at Naruto's bold request. Meanwhile, Iruka, amused, started listing the D-rank missions available. He explained that, at this time, only delivery missions were on the table and stressed the importance of completing them quickly to avoid mission failure.
"Team 7, for your first missions, we have the 'Kazuki Kettle Delivery' to the Tea Shop, the 'Ayumi Art Supplies Drop' to the village art store, and the 'Haruto Herbal Essentials Run' to the local apothecary. "
Iruka, with a sense of urgency, added, " Due to time constraints, you need to be quick with these deliveries. Delay could lead to mission failure, and we want to make sure our clients receive their goods on time. Move efficiently, work together, and complete these tasks swiftly. The village is counting on you !"
The trio, initially surprised, turned to Kakashi with questioning eyes. However, Seeing Kakashi Showing a sly expression, hinting at the fact that he was intentionally putting pressure on them. With a comical change in expression from Interrogation to panic, the three young ninja understood that this was done on purpose.
Kakashi, still smiling, welcomed them to the shinobi world, where mission parameters could change at any time.
Not missing a beat, the trio swiftly grabbed the mission scroll and hurried to the client meeting site. Their departure was met with amused eyes from Iruka and the Sandaime. Iruka, still smiling, turned to Kakashi and remarked, "That was a bit cruel, wasn't it?"
Kakashi saluted the duo, acknowledging Iruka's comment, "It's good training for them." With a swift swirl of leaves, he disappeared, following his students into the first of many missions that awaited Team 7 in the shinobi world.
Much later, the trio could be seen tired and sweating, their energy drained from the fervent completion of their delivery missions. Naruto's body half-leaning on the bridge borders, Sakura leaning against a post, and Sasuke with his usual stoic demeanor, all exhibited the weariness of the day. Their initial enthusiasm had given way to a sense of fatigue, compounded by the trolling mindset of their Jounin sensei.
Kakashi, wearing his trademark eye-smile, strolled up to them. "Good work, Team 7," he commended, his words dripping with a mix of praise and amusement. "The client was very satisfied with your energetic approach. You've made quite an impression."
The trio, now looking daggers at their teacher, couldn't hold back their frustration. Naruto, with an exasperated tone, finally asked the burning question, "Kakashi-Sensei, did you do all of this on purpose?"
Kakashi, maintaining his enigmatic smile, simply looked back to his books without giving a direct answer. A dark aura began to manifest around the students, a silent testament to their growing irritation.
Having had enough of the teasing, Kakashi finally relented. "Alright, that's enough for today," he declared, closing his book. "Meet again tomorrow morning at 8, near the mission building. Good work, and until then." With that, he disappeared in a swirl of smoke, leaving the trio to exchange glances, a mix of relief and annoyance evident on their faces.
Sasuke, seeing no purpose in lingering, stood up and began walking away, his hands casually tucked into his pockets. He ignored Sakura's call to walk home together, leaving her slightly dejected. Meanwhile, Sakura, preoccupied with her own thoughts, disregarded Naruto's shy request to eat ramen together. Naruto, left looking somewhat depressed, gave a resigned sigh and started walking home alone.
As Naruto walked, he couldn't shake off the feeling of solitude until he heard Konohamaru's familiar voice calling for him. Turning around, Naruto was met with Konohamaru running towards him, a mischievous grin on his face.
After exchanging greetings, Naruto asked Konohamaru what he was doing there. In response, Konohamaru slyly held onto Naruto's arm, declaring that he wouldn't face punishment alone.
Konohamaru, grinning mischievously
"Guess what, Naruto? We're in this together now. Grandpa Third's got something special for us,and I wont be doing alone ! "
Naruto, realizing it was likely one of his Grandpa punishments for the jutsu scroll
"Special? That doesn't sound good. I just learned the jutsu with you ! "
Konohamaru chuckled, "Nuh Nuh, I wont face the punishement alone ! we'll face it together!"
,Giving a constipated expression, signaling his intention to run away. However, before he could make his escape, Ebisu's hand landed on Naruto's shoulder.
Naruto groaned, "You too, Ebisu-sensei? Can't catch a break, can I?"
Ebisu laughed, "Consider it a lesson for last time, Young man !."
Trapped between the two, Naruto muttered, "Just my luck. I hope it's not another round of boring paperwork. Anything but that."
Naruto, trapped in the clutches of both Konohamaru and Ebisu, braced himself for whatever punishment awaited him, hoping it wouldn't be anymore boring paperworks.
Much later, Naruto and Konohamaru could be seen with bored expressions, both kneeling on tatami mats, diligently writing characters on papers arranged on a table. The atmosphere was serious as the Third Hokage observed them, occasionally giving advice on how to improve their brushstrokes while puffing on his pipe.
Naruto couldn't hide his frustration and complained, "Gramps, why do we have to do this?"
Konohamaru chimed in with an "Umu," indicating his agreement with his "big bro."
The old Hokage chuckled, smoke swirling around him, as he responded, "Having neat writing is important for a shinobi. Besides, one of my former students is quite famous for his writing skills."
Konohamaru, initially grumbling about the task, shifted to a pensive expression as the Hokage spoke of his accomplished student. A lightbulb appeared above his head, and he exclaimed, "Wait, are you talking about Jiraiya of the Sannin?"
Naruto, with a hint of confusion in his voice, asked, "Jiraiya of the what?"
Konohamaru, realizing that his "big bro" wasn't the brightest when it came to recognizing names, decided to enlighten him. "No, Naruto, he's talking about one of the three legendary ninja that Grandpa taught in his younger days. "
Naruto, scratching his head in confusion, mumbled, "Legendary Sennin? What is that ? Are they really that famous?" The concept of legendary figures seemed lost on him.
Konohamaru, sporting a mischievous grin, took it upon himself to give Naruto a brief history lesson about the three legendary Sannin – Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru. As he spoke, he couldn't help but enjoy the opportunity to share some of the rich history and legendary feats of these remarkable ninja. As he spoke, the Third Hokage observed the exchange with amusement, appreciating the chance to share some valuable history with the younger generation.
"Listen up, Big bro," Konohamaru began, his voice infused with excitement. "The Sannin were the three most talented and powerful ninja of their generation. Grandpa taught them when they were just kids, and they went on to become some of the strongest and most influential figures in the village, even the world ! "
He gestured animatedly as he continued, "Jiraiya, the Toad Sage, was a master of ninjutsu and a sage. He traveled the world, writing books and chronicling his adventures. His techniques were legendary, and he even trained the Fourth Hokage ! "
"Woah ! He trained the fourth ?! But a sage ? "
"Yes, a sage !. I'm not aware of the deepest details, but what I know is each person holding the title of sage is some of the strongest shinobi around ! "
Konohamaru shifted to the second Sannin, "Then there's Tsunade, known as the Medical Saint,And in some circles " at this, slyly smiling," as the legendary sucker for her crappy gambling luck. but don't let the nickname fool you. She's a medical-nin with unmatched healing abilities. She is the First hokage Granddaughter, and played a crucial role in the Last wars."
Finally, he spoke of Orochimaru, his tone taking a slightly serious turn, "Orochimaru was a True genius in the arts of ninjutsu.I don't have more information on him,but all I know is that he made great contributions in the past wars. Although he strayed from the village's path, there's no denying his skill and impact on our village history."
Konohamaru concluded his impromptu history lesson with a triumphant look,Showing a proud young master look asking for praise "So, Aniki ! the Sannin are a big deal around here "
The Third Hokage observed the exchange with a nod of approval, pleased to see the younger generation taking an interest in the village's history, his eyes getting abit dark at the mention of orochimaru, but not showing any particular expression.
Impressed by Konohamaru's detailed knowledge of the Sannin, Naruto couldn't help but express his admiration. He clapped Konohamaru on the back, commending him for the enlightening lesson. "Hey, when I become Hokage, I'll leave my son to you for his ninja history lessons," Naruto joked.
Konohamaru, not one to back down, immediately jumped at the opportunity. "Hokage? No way! I'll be the one to become Hokage!" he declared, and the two of them engaged in some good-natured wrestling. The Third Hokage, observing the sudden scuffle, felt a throbbing vein forming on his forehead. He yelled at them to stop before they broke something precious in his office.
Interrupted by the Hokage's stern command, Naruto and Konohamaru halted their wrestling match. The Third Hokage, with a disapproving look, decided on a fitting punishment for their disruption. "Since you both seem to have so much energy," he declared, "you can channel that into writing even more characters. Consider it an extra lesson in discipline!"
And so, under the watchful eye of the Third Hokage, Naruto and Konohamaru found themselves tasked with writing an abundance of characters the whole night as their penance.
