Chapter 13 - Chapter 13

It was hard to believe that no sooner had Barack entered and started his game at the gambling tables than he lost at the turnover table in the second round. Now his eyes could only see a few suitcases of money being pulled out from in front of him.

As he stood there, Barack heard a woman screaming at the gate across the street. For some reason, he was drawn to see it from the window.

The tug-of-war scene between two stocky men and one woman, Barack concluded that they were thirsty for a woman's touch. But when his eyes accidentally scanned the woman, his eyes seemed to see something different about her.

Like a shield, purple light surrounded her body. Barack frowned, trying to use his magic to see who the owner of the shield line was.

However, after a while he failed to find it until his mouth swore. "Ah, damn it! Who exactly is that girl?"

As the woman was cornered, Barack clapped his hands twice and signaled that the two men should let her go.

Disappointment showed in the corners of their eyes. Resentment mixed with anger mixed together. However, they couldn't fight or challenge the man they respected the most in the world.

They hurriedly left and returned to their work. "Too bad we can't enjoy the touch of an angel as beautiful as her." Cursed one of them.

Afterward, Barack observed the steps of the woman who was now walking hurriedly until she bumped into someone. He watched as she began to interact with the person she bumped into earlier.

When the woman left with a man, Barack, who was smoking earlier, threw away his cigarette butt rudely. At the gambling table, there was still an ongoing game of dice that continued to spin endlessly.

Even though he wasn't the winner, with a wild expression, Barack placed another bet that was not small. Everyone there was astonished, and even asked. Why was he so brave and not afraid of being poor if he lost again?

"How was it? Are you afraid?"

In the audience, Barack asked with a lopsided smile. Someone came forward and rolled up his sleeves.

The sound of Barack's snort accompanied by a mocking smile made him ask again. "Is he my opponent?"

The person seemed calm and didn't show the slightest fear.

"Don't worry." he muttered, Barack raised his eyebrows, with a glint of interest in his eyes, and said, "Is he the one who won seven rounds of dice in a row?"

Barack whispered to the person standing next to him. With a nod, he knew immediately that his guess was correct. "So right, it's him? hem..." Old Barack had a smug expression on his face.

The sound of deheman could be heard several times, Barack looked very excited as everyone was ready to see their dice game. "Let's play the game..."

"Fine! I'm not afraid of your challenge at all." Barack quickly sat down on an empty chair with a round table in front of him. "Well, good luck."

In the fading weather, Olivia and Leon walked down the aisles of the antique bookstore while chatting about many things. As a novelist, her heart always wanted to do many things in order to get interesting ideas, looking for new things that were harmonious to penetrate into words that could express emotions.

Leon had told me about the dream he had some time ago. "Is it possible that my father's message in the dream has something to do with it?" Olivia thought before answering, "I think so. But there's nothing wrong with trying to link it, who knows if there's a connection. But wait! What did you say, the man in the robe?"

One nod was enough for Olivia. "So that's it..."

"Then what's your plan now?"

"My plan?" Olivia immediately pulled her interlocutor's hand as she said. "Come with me!" Although confused, Leon followed Olivia's footsteps from behind. Olivia led Leon through a turn until they reached a path.

Once they arrived in front of a house painted a fading light green, Olivia invited Leon to sit on the porch. Meanwhile, she went inside and returned quickly, carrying a backpack filled with her gear.

Unconcerned about her work, she still had to make revisions to the manuscript of the book she was working on. "For the time being, I have to do this, I hope that by facing the situation head on, I will find more tension in my story manuscript." His gaze turned to the figure who had been waiting for him all this time. "Leon, you know that we've been through a lot together, and now it's time for us to accept our destiny to save the werewolf pack. Do you know what we should do next?"

During the time he was waiting for Olivia, Leon had apparently thought of many things without Olivia's knowledge. His eyes looked straight at Olivia with determination. "First, we have to meet with Alpha Adam. Tell him to unite all the werewolves scattered across the country. We need to build a strong and trusting relationship between each other.

"Your idea is good, you're right Leon. We should hold a big meeting in the middle of the forest. I think it would be a chance for all the werewolves to meet and share their experiences."

Leon's gaze stared into the distance. "After that, we should tell them to train themselves and their packs to be tough warriors. We must all have the skills to survive."

Olivia was excited, "Hurry up, we need to get moving, our time is limited." In an instant, the two of them moved into the forest. Olivia remembered Samuel's grandfather's ancient book.

They would prove that werewolves were not a threat, but a trustworthy partner. They hoped that success would be in their favor. Whether it was Olivia, or Leon who would become a great leader and bring peace to all werewolves. Only time will tell and determine.

The adventure has just begun, the world of the werewolf pack awaits them.

Amidst the glittering lights, in a crowded room, Barack was standing at the bottom floor, planning to break through the beer and DJ music lovers who were dancing amongst the thumping music.

Luckily he was a man of honor, so within seconds of his bodyguard giving the order, everyone who was dancing immediately stopped and made way for Barack.

Barack smiled with satisfaction at the speed at which his assistants and bodyguards worked. "Well done today! After this you can go back home, I'm going somewhere."

"Yes sir." Those who felt Barack's members and followers all made it out of the bar. People thought and knew there was another life hidden behind the face of Barack, the owner of the scar on his face.
