Chapter 350 - Confrontation of Gods

Our psychic might's clashed, mine clearly outweighing his as his entire mind collapsed, or seemingly did so. The body slumped whilst standing the brain all but gone, turned into a pile of goo within the flesh cage known as a body. Blood dripped from his orifices and shadow collected around the alcoves of his face.

Immediately an awful sense of dread entered into the space, the aura of something fowl and evil, an immensity of evil unknown by most and only dreamt about by those of sufficient knowledge. In but a moment I drained my full power into the psychic barriers I had erected. The Custodes became more weary by the second as they realised they could not contend with this being, even with their Sisters of Silence beside them. They were gazing at pure unadulterated madness, Chaos incarnate and Evil beyond measure.

"Emelia, can you handle this being?"

I grunted at the question as I unleashed my full form, the Space marine veterans watching on in wonder as their emotions betrayed their countenance. The sorcerer's head and upper body lifted like a puppet with its strings now taken over. Blood as black as volcanic glass flooded down the being's face and body as the teeth detached and extended into small tentacles and barnacles. Breasts grew from the side of its face as its eyes turned every colour but their natural shade.

Pustules and various other malignant tumours began to sizzle and burgeon on the surface of the creature's skin and clothing. Repugnant though the thing's visage what came out was a jovial almost happy voice.

"Hohoho... So i see we have fucked the brains out of my forces, have we? How... DELIGHTFUL!" Purple bombastically exploded out in a passion of different expressions. Fireworks one moment turned into rainfall which then faded into white powder. The being before us was not the same with which we found upon entering the chamber. I knew who this was...

"Slaanesh⚦... What brought your disease rotted ovaries to this planet? Done fucking some aliens already?" My tone conveyed every lack of a shit i felt for the so called 'Chaos' god. The being quivered as if it was being stimulated by something, each movement of the vile thing's body causing a disgusting repugnant smell of semen and drugs. The Custodes were able to stay sane within this area due to my protection, the Space Marines owing their lives because of it. The Librarian was losing his shit, not in a corrupted sort of way, no, he was pissed... The greatest enemy he has ever witnessed, one of the great enemies of mankind was before him yet he was as if a human child in front of an Imperial Battleship. I could feel every Iota of his shame and hatred.

"MmmmmmmMMMmmm, I love it when you speak dirty! Come, say more, I really want to hear you SAY IT!" The force of her aura increased and my mental shields strained under her assault. Denying her the victory of making me close my eyes I dug my nails into the palms of my hands, my teeth popping lightly under the strain of maintain the shield. It was all superficial damage, easily healed, but the mere thought of my powers being pushed back was a disgrace enough.

"What? No more!? What a pity... It's, like your, insulting me... Hooo, hooo, stop flirting with me...!" The being touched itself more, the disorientating smell wafting through the chamber again. Behind the figure was Sanguinius's body, i couldn't allow it to get into her hands, no matter the cost... It would set us down a path that neither I or the Emperor would wish to explore.

"ENOUGH!" I embraced all of my power, my hatred for having to do this flowing through my veins like magma from an exploding Volcano. Icy hatred billowed from my eyes as my sheer emotion took form in reality as the very laws of this Multiverse tried to hold me down, only succeeding in half a measure. Slaanesh's puppet took a step back as the tone shifted to that of seriousness.

"You mad woman, you threaten to pull them all down upon us!"

"I do not give a flying fuck you vile excuse for life... Perish like the Old Ones!"

A wave of psychic might interlaced with various other forms of power struck out at the puppet, not so much targeting the fleshy toy she was using to communicate but the very connection that Slaanesh was manipulating at this moment. A virus of sheer hatred now radiated down this cosmic thread as the very essence of Reality fought to invade the said connection. A mindboggling scream ushered out of the construct as Slaanesh's voice, voices, mixed with the cacophony before being silenced all at once. The puppet fell, its strings cut and its flesh sagging into ash and plague manure.

I dropped to my knees as I breathed heavily, my mind reeling from the effort it took me to achieve what I had. I did not know what being she spoke of but I did not care at this time. I needed an ally and the Emperor would be a very large help in fighting the one above us all, Existence. I flexed my muscles and felt the rebound of my powers strike me. In mere seconds my form was struck with blisters and burns, my flesh searing at an alarming rate as reality itself punished me. Then, as if it was all memory, my void powers exploded outwards. Nihility took over and Reality quaked in fear. What was the antithesis of Reality, nothingness... That is what I unconsciously used. The Custodes and Space Marines around me were safe, the bubble only extending mere centimetres from my body.

"Come, we must resurrect your Primarch. I did not kill her, nor did I even flay her, I have merely held her at bay until we could complete what we came here for." The Captain General nodded in grim determination, all of them having gained a respect and awe for me. Not many people could take on a God and win, I had just done so, much like the Emperor. I did not need their faith but I apparently I had earned some of the Space Marine's, their voices coming into my mind as their belief in the Emperor spilled over. They believed me an Angel, a Divine Servant of the Emperor. Wrong though they were, I did not fix this misunderstanding either, i did not have the energy to matter for some random marines.

Struggling to my feet I stumbled forwards, my body healing very fast compared to normal people. The burns receded and new vibrant skin took its place. Within moments I was repaired, Nihility slapping reality for me constantly. No power was lost by me throwing around my Nihility.

'I am glad I got this... Warhammer is very, painful... One could consider me a masochist for even attempting to interfere... Huuu, time to bring back good old Sanguinius. Can't wait to meet him.'

The tomb had now gone silent, the last remnants of chaos worship and warp corruption fading with my every step, Nihility dragging it into nothingness and smothering it whilst it struggled. Before my eyes now sat a golden casket, the vague form of Sanguinius making the shape of the casket. A golden mask with thorned crown adorning it sat eerily quiet as all that was left of the Emperor's best son lay within.

"Make your decision... Option 1, or 2?"
