Chapter 333 - An Extermination Begun

An hour after my visit to his vessel Guilliman journeyed to the Dark Justiciar, his retinue being that of ten Space Marines and his chapter's Chaplain. I greeted him with an equal show of force as I brought along Alpha Team as well as two Sentinels. The greeting was tense but came to a peaceful conclusion as i began my basic tour of my vessel; excluding the Whitehole production area and the information sensitive parts of the ship.

The tour went quickly as i introduced the engine room and several non-harmful sections of the ship, ending it at the bridge which was currently manned by Justiciara and some of the bridge crew. As soon as we stepped into the room one of the Space Marines reacted oddly as his eyes immediately tracked Justiciara. He was no doubt a tech marine and could sense the Nu-sphere around him... This would easily explain why he could tell she was an IAI, her signal was too unique not to be noticed.

"Lord Primarch, that is the f- The AI." The Tech marine held his words wisely as he just continued to look at my IAI as if she were a protentional threat. Guilliman looked at Justiciara with curiosity and deep set weariness. Like he had said, he had gone through a lot during the Horus Heresy and even the Great Crusade, experiencing many past Human colonies infested with the rogue AI and controlling Humanity entirely.

"Greetings representatives of the Imperium of Man. My name is Justiciara, the IAI, or Interdimensional Artificial Intelligence, of the Dark Justiciar. Please be set at ease, i will not conduct myself in any manner that would condone violence unto you or support any such action." Her tone was rather soft and seemed to take a more diplomatic path as she tried to make herself seem as under control as possible. Guilliman ignored her display of morality and ethics, analysing her bearing and the minute details around the room. He didn't stay silent for seemingly long as he nodded his head.

"Very well. If that is the case, i would like you to shut off these sentinels." His words were concise and unquestioning as he glared at Justiciara. Alpha team didn't react to the small provocation but I could sense all of them connecting to their environment more, looking for any weaknesses in the Space marines which there were very little of to start with.

Justiciara looked at me, the act not going unnoticed by Guilliman or the Tech Marine, before i nodded. In the next seconds the Sentinels shut down and went completely dark. Guilliman looked at me wordlessly, calculating the risk and potential of every different action he could take. Ultimately he turned back to Justiciara.

"Please turn them back on, I have confirmed the result of my first test." Justiciara turned to me again, receiving my nod once more, before turning them on once again. Guilliman and the Tech Marine noticed once more this exchange and glanced at one another before moving on.

I spoke to the Primarch for several more minutes about the general idea of the alliance we would form and what form it would come in. We ironed out some basic ideas such as protective packs and such, trading possibly, but this ceased when he decided to do another test... Revealing the bad habits of one of the crew before Justiciara. Like every internal matter Justiciara naturally dealt with it in a fair and responsible manner, talking to the person before organising a small punishment for them based upon the level of their infraction. In this case it was a rather small slap on the wrist in the form of polishing the metallic bits on all of the Bridges consoles within a day.

Honestly the tests were quite trivial and silly but if it made him more comfortable with an alliance I wasn't going to stop him... Although i felt bad for that specific member of staff that got caught playing galaga on one of the consoles.

Finally after another three tests that were accomplished via rather small and trivial means Guilliman left my ship feeling confident. We had created a temporary alliance for the situation on Redna, from which future alliances and deals would formed. Caution was the motto of Guilliman whilst he had to contend with a force that prided itself on the motto: 'Innocence proves nothing.' I felt somewhat frustrated on his behalf.

Anyway, just like that we were allowed to assist Imperial Forces on the planet with the extermination of the Tyranids. Now it may seem like a waste of time to wipe them out on Redna, but it would perfectly symbolise the lengths and means by which we will stamp out our enemies. A showcase of force and strength so to speak.

"Justiciara, i apologise for the nature of his tests but I hope that you can maintain good contact with them in future."

"Very well mistress... I do not like acting like a lap dog but if i must to further our goals then by all means i shall sacrifice my own dignity."

"Ooof... Okay, sorry... I'll make it up to you by having a date with you, sound good?"

Her stone-cold face from previous melted into vibrant energetic smile as she jumped up and down with glee. I was a little blown away by the change but quickly calmed down before turning around and walking to one of the consoles.

'Why do all my AIs and IAIs have to be attracted to me...? Is it something I inadvertently added into their coding?'

"This is Supreme Commander Emelia to all Marine Forces... Prepare for imminent deployment to the surface of Redna!" I hit the repeat button on the inner-comms system as I walked back to my command chair, watching and waiting for my forces to deploy onto the planet in their nanite dropships.

'Hopefully they will see reason...'

...

Meanwhile in a golden domain within the warp.

"WHAT!? HE'S AGREED TO WORK WITH AI!?"

The entire space quaked as his aura flared and he began to inspect the timeline. The figure was simultaneously a small girl but also a massive golden demi-god man figure with raging muscles. An old man sometimes appeared whilst at times he would become a Conan-like figure.

A skein of patterns appeared before him as many cards sat floating around this skein, a symbol of his power within the warp and the powers at his command. On the skein he rapidly scanned many of the interwoven threads for any answers to the problems that could be caused by this 'assistance'.

His form became solid all at once moments later as his twelve foot height loomed over the skein as if it were a mere plaything. He shook lightly as the space around him erupted into bright green verdant life, the entire space around him becoming something that many humans would compare to Eden or Heaven.

"W-what!?"

That entire sector of the warp shook that day as many Chaos Gods, Entities and beings would try and investigate what happened only to run straight into the fires of order and light. The Anathema was up to something and this caused waves through the timeless space of the Warp.
