Chapter 300 - Teaching Elijah and Corrin

Chapter 300!!! YAY!!! I hope you all enjoy my story... I haven't been getting as many people posting comments or anything but I hope you all enjoy nonetheless!

---------------------------------------------------------

Sitting on the ground near to my children I noticed that they were slowly getting up, their hands grabbing the floor in an attempt to assist in their efforts. I laughed a little and drew their gazes, both of them gulping; they weren't supposed to annoy me whilst I was working.

"M-mummy...S-sorry, we'll leave." This was corrin that spoke, her voice rather strained as she flinched from any little expression I made. She wasn't scared of me, just worried over the punishment that might come her way. Elijah was following her as he also looked scolded and increased his pace.

"Now, now, you succeeded in doing teleportation for the first time. At your age that is impressive. Stay here with me and I'll show you some cool stuff." When i said they could stay their eyes lit up like fireworks. They ran at me and tackled me into a hug, their little eyes practically glowing with their immature godly domains. I chuckled and began to tickle them before they broke off. With them now super excited I decided to show them some cool stuff.

I offered my hands to the both of them, both of them taking it seconds later. With both of them ready I willed us closer to my project. I decided to create a small pocket space where you could view the entire space outside of a window, as if it were in a small 5 metre by 5 metre lab room. Elijah and Corrin immediately looked out over my new construct and witnessed the sheer beauty of what I had made. The whitehole had basically merged with the starlight-coloured material of the factory and had become almost like a Yin and Yang symbol. The entire factory was lightly humming in resonance with the space around it, creating a deep but light tone that slowly flittered out of the construct. Elijah was exclaiming how cool it was as Corrin was just pressing her face against the 'glass' that you could see through.

"Mummy? What is it?"

"It is mum's project, and it is almost completed."

"What does it do?" Corrin was the one asking the question as Elijah was just staring at it as if he wanted to touch and exclaiming how cool it looked.

"It can make whatever I want... Or at least that is the plan. Would you like to see mum complete it?" She nodded emphatically as Elijah broke his gaze and looked at me with intense energy. I brought them to a small table off to the side where I quickly dumped some of the logic modules for the construct. These modules were ultimately intended for an AI, specifically an IAI... Something I had been creating in the background. The IAI is an Interdimensional Artificial Intelligence, it could grasp superbly complex concepts and ideas, make new inferences, ideas, creations, materials, etc... It was a logic anomaly that would be something the Mechanicus in Warhammer 40k would hate with all their might. I didn't care though as this was going to be a massive secret even to the Terrans, my people.

"What is that mum?"

"It is the brain of an AI honey." Both of them hummed along as I started to use my magic, specifically Technomancy, to create magical circuits for the different logic modules to interconnect them and make them intense enough to allow for the IAI to actually spread and become a proper entity. Elijah's eyes were entranced by my magic and he began to try and do the same, his magic struggling to even come to a fraction of my own proficiency in technomancy, however, he seemed to be insanely talented in it as he slowly began to alter it until it resembled the basic form of the most rudimentary circuitry magic.

The thing with technomancy was that it was usually learned by slowly tinkering with technology and surrounding your magic with technology as well. Some of the first spells you learn as a technomancer is  electrical manipulation spells, meant to alter some small outputs and effects of lighting and computers. Circuitry was something that was considered the 'peak' of the craft as it allowed you to create logic circuits that you could inject ideas into and it would allow the magic to affect something with those Ideas. And he had just done the most rudimentary spell of circuitry.

He must have sensed something was off as he turned off his magic and looked at me nervously. "Sorry mummy, I just thought it looked cool..." I blinked several times before a proud smile came to my face and i ruffled his golden hair.

"That is fine, you just showed mum how good you are at Technomancy... You'll be learning under me in the future, okay?" He was elated as he jumped up and down in excitement, Corrin looking grumpy as she stared at the magic and tried to replicate it as well. She failed instantly but didn't take it well and tried to just strike a distant table with her magic, the table was empty. I was going to say something to stop her but I noticed the heavy feeling of space moving to her command as her magical strike warped and tore the entire table into shreds, the entire space around the table shattering and reforming before slowly repairing. 'Space element huh?'

"Corrin, that was very immature and silly." She seemed to huddle in on herself at my scolding. All my children knew that I was pretty chill, unless they stepped out of line, in which case I'd become their worst nightmare; subjecting them to time outs and chores. At this moment she realised that she had just wrangled with an angry me, and tried to seem smaller than she was. I wasn't really that mad at her but she needed to take out her frustrations a different way.

"I know that you were Jealous but there is better ways, more constructive ways of taking out your anger... Okay?"

"Yes mummy..."

"Good. Now, you will also be spending some lessons with me. You both seem to be talented in areas where I am expert." Corrin immediately looked up at me with 'stars' in her eyes as Elijah just jumped up and down again.

...

From there I created the IAI and showed them how I did it. They were excited about the creation of something cool so I set up some small materials and objects and told them to go crazy with creating something. Creating things was an awesome way of expanding their ideas and imagination as it will also allow them to have an outlet for their emotions. Elijah and Corrin started to mess with the material in different ways as I held an eye over them, pointing out some small mistakes with their uses of magic and ideas they were trying to implement.

Honestly they were very cute in the way they wanted to make god slaying swords and Guns but they were trying way too hard and missing the fact that they needed to start out small. "Corrin, Elijah, why don't you make some small jewellery for your other mums?" They nodded and started to slowly try and bend the material into what they wanted. Corrin was having issues due to her lack of proficiency over the Space Element but ultimately started to gain small amounts of control over time, creating beautiful earrings by the end of our little lesson; the earrings being a small simplistic yin and yang symbol with small compressed diamonds in it. Elijah was fairing better though as he used the technomancy circuits to imbue his ideas directly into the metal he was working with, making the entire structure bend and mould to his imagination. He ultimately ended up with several pairs of Bracelets, Earrings, Rings, Tiaras and Crowns... Apparently he liked fantasy movies and stories as most of his creations looked like something from Lord of The Rings or Wheel of Time.

At this moment i was so proud of both of them that I dragged them off to an ice-cream shop in Atlantis and allowed them to but large ice-creams, something that I very rarely allowed them to do. They were over the moon and happily dug into their sweet food.

'Now they just need to learn control. I wonder if I could purchase some books with Spatial Magic knowledge for Corrin...? System?'
