Chapter 73 - Chapter 73 She Really Broke My Heart

As soon as the words "little girl" were uttered, Morgana's body bristled with goosebumps. After living for Ten Thousand Years, being referred to as a little girl was entirely unnerving.

However, the moment Ron released Guysha's gaze, a palpable tension filled the air. The intensity in Guysha's eyes emanated a fierce aura, a hint of crimson flashing within her gaze.

"Menstruation?" Guysha's voice dripped with animosity. "Do you realize, wretched person, that I could issue a judgment of justice against you right now? Forget menopause, even your femininity would vanish!"

Morgana retorted, "Hehe... a judgment of justice? The entire universe is pursuing my old lady based on the rules you devised yourself?"

Guysha responded calmly, "You persist in this manner. If you can't argue reasonably, you resort to heresy. Absurd. If you weren't in this tavern, you wouldn't even merit an equal conversation with me."

Morgana was momentarily speechless, her cheeks flushing. Although she desired to retaliate, the tavern's rules prevented her from doing so.

"Enough with the bickering; have some wine," Ron intervened with a conciliatory smile, producing a bottle of wine from the cabinet.

Glancing at the bottle, Guysha inquired, "Do you have red wine or coffee?"

"We have hand-poured wine, using filter paper," Ron responded. Internally, he grumbled about using toilet paper instead of filter paper but continued, "Only white wine or fruit wine is available. This one is called Jianlanchun."

Accepting the bottle, Guysha unscrewed the cap, and the rich aroma of wine immediately wafted around her.

Before sipping the wine, a delicate flush adorned Guysha's cheeks, enhancing the mellow essence of the drink.

After pouring and taking a sip, the taste of the wine lingered, its richness enveloping her palate. The blend of sweet and pure flavors, along with its mellowness, impressed Guysha. "Yes, much better than my usual," she acknowledged.

"As long as you enjoy it," Ron replied, offering a smile before shifting his attention to the contemplative Morgana.

Her expression held complexity—an apparent frown tinged with a subtle hint of amusement flickering in her eyes. Her thoughts remained inscrutable.

Amidst the ensuing silence in the tavern, Morgana's languid voice broke through, "You always perceive my thoughts as fallacies. Ultimate fear doesn't exist."

"Now that you're here, after witnessing legendary gods and encountering a tavern even your knowledge repository can't analyze... do you still hold the same belief? Although they're not part of the same world, this place undeniably exists."

Morgana then turned her gaze towards Guysha, speaking resolutely, "The Angel civilization isn't singular, nor is it the supreme being in the universe. The ultimate fear will undoubtedly manifest one day."

Guysha fell into silence, her starry pupils revealing a conflicted gaze. She wanted to counter, but found herself lacking evidence. This wasn't a squabble among children but a weighty academic debate that demanded confrontation.

Until this moment, Guysha considered herself the "master creature," the supreme being of the universe. All those undefined voids and ultimate fears were deemed as invisible and unknowable entities, classified by her as "lesser creatures." They didn't belong to the visible, mainstream world.

However, this conviction had been challenged by an unexpected tavern.

After a prolonged silence, Guysha uttered slowly, "Perhaps you are right, and I am wrong."

"As long as you can find a civilization history of more than ten thousand years in the known universe, then I am willing to die."

"But even if you discover such a civilization, your doctrine remains morally corrupt."

"In a world without justice, everything descends into chaos!"

Surprisingly, this time, Morgana chose not to counter but smiled, remarking, "Your dogmatic and antiquated notions will eventually lead to the downfall of the Angelic civilization. When the ultimate fear arrives, I'll sever your head with my own hands. I'm departing now, see you tomorrow, Bichi."

With a faint smile, she rose and prepared to leave. Before departing, Morgana turned back, winked at Ron, and stated, "The bill will be settled together tomorrow." She exited the tavern, her gait more lively and buoyant than before, masking any trace of the Demon Queen's shadow. To onlookers, she seemed a content woman who'd encountered something delightful.

However, this didn't deter Morgana's persistent contemplation on how to eliminate Guysha.

Observing Morgana's departure, Guysha murmured quietly, "You still maintain that you'll find contentment with a minor advantage."

"If the ultimate fear is indeed real," she continued in a low voice, "I can't allow the universe and my civilization to dwell in the shadow of fear until that entity arrives."

As Guysha expressed these thoughts, Ron, seated at the bar, had a sudden realization. He understood that Guysha already held the belief deep within her that these "lesser creatures" she dismissed might actually exist.

Otherwise, she wouldn't have dedicated time to study void quality.

Thus, three warriors were successfully equipped with sub-biological engines.

"Given the chance, would you kill Morgana?" Ron inquired softly.

"I don't know, perhaps I would," Guysha responded, shaking her head slightly, gently touching her left abdomen with her right hand. "Ever since that sword strike, even after Ten Thousand Years had passed and I transcended to the Fourth Generation, I still feel a lingering ache here. She... truly broke my heart!"

In that time long ago, Guysha hadn't anticipated that the one who betrayed and wounded her would be her own sister—Morgana. Perhaps in Guysha's perspective, Morgana remained a wayward and rebellious child.

Meanwhile, Shendu, quietly sipping his drink, contemplated sharing the tale of "reconciliation" between their father and son with Guysha. But eventually, he decided against it, deeming angels unworthy.

Passing by the bar, Lucoa commented softly, "Similarly, my sister and I have bickered for many years over a trivial matter. There's always room for reconciliation."

Tohru and Ron, listening nearby, shared a disapproving glance. Was it genuinely a trivial matter? Had they forgotten why they were stripped of their godhood?

Guysha sighed softly, "We fought for Ten Thousand Years and argued for Ten Thousand Years, during which countless lives were lost. It won't end so easily."

As her words trailed off, the tavern door creaked open. Akainu swiftly entered, wearing a grim expression. Rayleigh, catching sight of him, covered his face with his hand, hoping to go unnoticed.

However, Guysha's eyes suddenly sparkled, exclaiming, "Talent!"
